Giraffe Manor Hotel
9.3 (6,831 reviews)

Giraffe Manor Hotel ★★★★★

📍 No. 888, Dingjia Village, Miaoshan Village, Miaoxi Town, Wuxing District, Huzhou

"Front desk Yang was kind enough to extend our check out to 3pm instead of 12pm knowing we had 3 little kids who were not comfortable using squat toilets (for #2s). Hotel occupancy was low due to the typhoon — a lot of the outdoor activities were closed but we still had a blast. One note if you’re staying here - don’t opt for the room in the 1st floor, it’s damp and has a smell but the 3rd floor was fine. One of our favourite moments was having breakfast with the giraffes."

Atour Hotel Huzhou Dongwu Yintai South Street

Atour Hotel Huzhou Dongwu Yintai South Street ★★★★

📍 No. 850-1, Jiali Plaza South Street, Aishan Subdistrict, Wuxing District, Huzhou

"The executive king room is large and the pillows are very comfortable. The location is very good, and it takes no more than 10 minutes to drive to the city. Parking is also very convenient. The front desk service is enthusiastic. Knowing that we are going out, they enthusiastically handed us water."

Atour Hotel Huzhou Nanxun Ancient Town ★★★★

📍 No. 183 Dazhong Road, Nanxun Town, Nanxun District, Huzhou

"A no-frills, clean and sleek hotel. Good location to the old town, and very quiet area. Amenities were sleek and good, room was big with kids' toy, and room was very big and comfortable. We had a good night's stay. They have supper at night at the restaurant."

Longemont Zoo Hotel
9.0 (14,541 reviews)

Longemont Zoo Hotel ★★★★★

📍 Biyan Village, Taihu Tuying Tourism Resort Area, Changxing

"The room was fantastic, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and bright. The location is excellent, quite close to the circus and the Animal World. The supermarket on the first floor is also reasonably priced, which was great when we didn't feel like ordering takeout after watching the circus at night. The supermarket really offered good value for money. However, the breakfast restaurant was a bit chaotic. It's probably because there were many children, so it was noisy and messy, with oil stains and dropped sushi all over the floor. On the upside, the variety of breakfast items was impressive, so I'd still recommend it."

Huzhou Bianji Hotel

Huzhou Bianji Hotel ★★★★★

📍 Building 9, New Youth Urban Innovation and Entrepreneurship Workshop, No. 75 Huanzhu Road, Wuxing District, Huzhou

Huzhou Wells Hotel (Zhili Wuyue Plaza China Children's Wear City) ★★★

📍 No. 3498 Wuxing Avenue, Wuyue Plaza / Zhili Children's Clothing City, Wuxing District, Huzhou

"Location was excellent, walking distance to a WUYUE mall. Staff were ok. Room was clean, although in our room the toilet seat spray was not working, we were offered to change room but we did not want the hassle to repack again. Breakfast is ok, typical business breakfast, everyday assortment similar but just right, it is delicious. There's also free lunch but we never used the coupons since we were out all day with the client. There's also 24h free food, free water and coffee at the lobby. Generally very good for a business hotel."

"The service was incredibly thoughtful; the butler answered all our questions one-on-one and gave us a clear overview of the ancient town beforehand. The hotel was clean and tidy, parking was convenient, and the location was exceptionally close to the ancient town, which was super handy. Highly recommend!"

Four Points by Sheraton Huzhou Nanxun Hotels in Huzhou

Four Points by Sheraton Huzhou Nanxun

"We stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton Huzhou Nanxun on May 4th, and throughout our stay, we experienced exceptionally warm and thoughtful service from the hotel staff. It was a truly wonderful experience. On the evening of our check-in, our child suddenly had a nosebleed that wouldn't stop. In a panic, we contacted the front desk. A young male staff member on duty immediately brought us ice for first aid and even kindly helped us arrange transportation to a hospital for emergency medical attention. Due to the limited medical facilities in the local area, we decided to rush back to Shanghai that same night. As we were hastily preparing to leave and get into the car, this staff member thoughtfully prepared tissues and bottled water for us to take along. His care and warmth were truly comforting throughout the whole process. At the time, the incident was sudden and urgent, and we were so flustered that we forgot to ask for his name. However, his proactive, kind, calm, and patient assistance left a deep impression on our family. When I was feeling helpless, panicked, and anxious, he was the one who promptly and actively offered a helping hand, providing attentive assistance throughout, making us feel incredibly warm and reassured."

"Booked this hotel for a concert, very close to the Olympic Sports Center. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows in the room are very nice. The hotel's breakfast is very delicious, especially the durian pastry and wontons. Songshu gift pack: very good, I like it very much, it feels very thoughtful"

"Facilities: Pretty good, everything is quite new and well-maintained. Cleanliness: The room and lobby are generally fine, but the swimming pool was a bit dirty. Ambiance: Quite unique, with a circular design that makes the interior feel grand and upscale. But for those with trypophobia, haha. Service: Excellent! From the front desk staff to the cleaning aunties, everyone was polite and great."

"In a new build area. Remote but quiet, safe for walking with kids. 30min walk to Taihu lake and 10 to an outlet. Breakfast was average. The pool was a huge highlight, 2 warm pools and a big one for swimming. I’d consider staying here again for sure."

"The front desk staff, Xiao Wang, was incredibly thoughtful. Her voice was gentle, and she was very patient, proactively telling us about nearby facilities, breakfast times, and check-in details. She promptly helped us with our travel and luggage storage needs. Her service was professional and meticulous, making us feel very welcome. The service experience was perfect, and the value for money is excellent. Highly recommended!"

"You can get to the guesthouse directly by boat, so no worries if you have heavy luggage. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, and主动 offered to help with our bags. The room was clean, and the bedding was comfortable. Our room had a hot tub, which was lovely to relax in at night. The breakfast was delicious. Nanxun is beautiful, and there's lots of great food to try."

"Booked this room expecting a bathtub, but the staff said the bathroom photo is auto-uploaded by the system and the actual room has no shower. And that's it, which is not the level of service I would expect for 1300+ CNY/night. No bathrug for the bathroom. Some water stains on the table left behind by previous tenant. No lighting outside our door at night. Sound insulation is bad. Although it's called a hotel, this is actually a 民宿. The staff on the day I checked in didn't say anything about breakfast. If I hadn't remembered the next day I guess I wouldn't have gotten anything. The staff on duty the day I checked out was better, he helped pack breakfast and also texted to remind me about snacks I forgot in the room. Location is very good, convenient if you go out of town or end up on the other side and want to take a didi back. Near the parking lot, so minimal walking. The decor is not bad, although the courtyard is a little plain. But I wouldn't come here again, especially bro during a holiday weekend. You can get better value elsewhere."

Sheraton Huzhou Taihu Lake Hot Spring Resort & Spa ★★★★★
"The hotel's environment and location are great. However, the room facilities and style are a bit outdated, which is understandable since it was renovated over a decade ago. The staff's service attitude is very good. The only downside is that the windows in the lake view room were quite dirty. I specifically chose a lake view room, but the photography experience was poor. I suggest keeping the windows clean; it would significantly enhance the experience for guests who enjoy taking photos."

"The hotel is very clean and the location is great, situated conveniently between Nanxun Ancient Town and Moganshan, making it easy to visit either. It's also quite close to Taihu Lake, about a dozen kilometers away. Overall, Huzhou doesn't have much traffic, so driving here was quick. The noodles for breakfast were delicious, and the bamboo shoots in the 'yan du xian' soup were very fresh. All in all, a good experience."

Giraffe Manor Hotel ★★★★★
"First time in Huzhou, and I got to experience a close encounter with giraffes. It was a refreshing and comfortable experience, really connecting with nature! We stayed in a charming forest cabin, and the food at Lumingsuan restaurant was excellent. The photography service from Qidu Travel Photography was very thoughtful; they chose great natural spots, and the photos turned out beautifully. The estate's interactive performances were also a lot of fun. The only downside is that there are quite a few mosquitoes on the mountain, so just be sure to bring plenty of repellent."

"The room was pretty clean overall. I also found the amenities and services quite good, like the laundry room with both washers and dryers. Plus, you can check the real-time status of the washing machines, so you don't have to wait around unnecessarily. For this price and location, I think it offers great value for money. The hanging area in the room was also a nice touch, with plenty of hangers."

It's not far from the ancient town, so getting a taxi is easy, or you can even rent a shared bike. They also offer a simple late-night snack, which was a perfect touch."

Longemont Taihu Lake Town Hotel ★★★★★
"I visited during Chinese New Year, and it was truly a disaster. I expected it to be crowded during the holiday, but some issues could have been avoided. Hygiene: We only got our room in the afternoon. There were several hairs under the pillow, which made me wonder if the sheets were actually changed. Also, the tissues in the box were a mess – completely unusable. I wouldn't have known if my child hadn't curiously opened it. With so many people, how can this happen? Room Facilities: We played too late on the first day, and when I went to shower early the next morning, the water stopped halfway through. I called, and they said it was under maintenance. So I just had to stand there, half-showered, waiting. Then, at breakfast, I gave my room number and even showed the card holder. But they insisted I provide names and ID numbers. We were a group of 12, and I had no idea whose ID was used for which room. How could I possibly provide that? I asked if the room number on the card wasn't enough, and they said no, in case I'd just picked it up. Seriously, why would I bother picking up something like that? Then, someone next to me just said, 'Someone's inside,' and walked in. Does that mean I don't need breakfast anymore? I can just say 'someone's inside'? It took ages, honestly, it's hard to describe. And after we finally got in, the staff at the front desk were badmouthing people, and they weren't even speaking quietly – everyone could hear them. Breakfast: I even found a hair in my food. Just my luck! Parking: We had three cars. We were in the middle one. The cars in front and behind us were allowed into the underground parking, but they wouldn't let us in, saying it was full. We explicitly told them we had two kids and lots of stuff and asked if we could unload first before going to park, but they refused and just shooed us away. The road was gravelly, and we had to walk a long way. Later, we asked about charging stations, and they said there weren't any. Then they told us to go down anyway. Meanwhile, the car that went down earlier said there were plenty of spots. Why wouldn't they let us in? It was just unbelievable."
