"The room was infested with bedbugs. During the first night of my stay, I experienced severe itching. At first, I thought it was an allergic reaction to the detergent used to clean the linens but in the morning I noticed small scabs on my left wrist as well as swelling and itching extending throughout my hand. I also had swelling in the temples of my head, welts on the back of my neck, and itching in my right hand. I did some research and found they are symptoms of bedbug bites, and the symptoms lasted for several days. Because of that, I had to discard the clothes I wore as well as a personal towel that was on the bed with me, and sanitize all of my other clothes. Additionally, I needed to treat the seats and trunk of my car in case any of the parasites, their eggs, and/or larvae found it's way into the vehicle. *********** will not provide a refund even though I incurred expenses to replace what I needed to discard. After the fact, I looked up the reviews on Google Maps and found I was not the only guest who experienced these parasites. I urge potential guests to reconsider whether you would want to book a room at this hotel. "

"This motel looks fine from the highway. Once inside, you will smell a strong, strange odor that isn’t identifiable. Most of the people staying here are single men working for the railroad. This gives the place an atmosphere of a work camp or YMCA. We stayed three nights for a family funeral and there was no maid service. When I asked why not, after seeing employers cleaning other rooms, I was told they only clean “railroad rooms.” Sketchy women are hanging around the front desk area and outside under the portico. If you’re looking for a more normal motel experience, I suggest staying in nearby Norwalk or Mansfield. This place gave me the creeps."
