My wife and I stayed for three nights from 2nd - 5th April 2025 at The Queens Arms, East Garston, and what an outstanding country inn it is. We stayed in the Ashdown bedroom, which was both cosy & comfortable. The food at both breakfast and dinner was excellent and the staff looked after us so well. East Garston is a beautiful village with lots of local walks that we really enjoyed. We will certainly be staying here again. Thanks to all the team for a wonderful stay.

We found this lovely country pub restaurant on Google - travelled from Yorkshire Friday evening to a friendly welcome Restaurant and bar were quite busy - always a good sign, The service was efficient and atmosphere friendly The restaurant served beautifully prepared, local sourced produce A good range of beers and drinks at the bar The staff were professional and friendly The room was comfortable, clean with bath, plus shower and all facilities Breakfast just added to the great night local sources bacon and sausages tasted wonderful - continental breakfast also available We would recommend to others and we certainly plan to stay again Very convenient if you are en toute to or from nearby racehorse stables

Quick mid-week lunch, all AOK. Simple straight-forward menu, food was good, decent portion sizes and hot. A bit of a wait for our food given that it was not busy but not unacceptable. Friendly staff.

Booked as part of a road trip in the area. It is in a very pretty village, a footpath by the side of the pub takes you to the main street. Pub, with rooms, is on the roadside but it is a quiet road, and this feels like a locals pub, so warm and welcoming inside. Check-in was easy and my room was good. Big bed with lovely linen, TV and hospitality tray in room very well stocked. Ironing board, hairdryer etc, all that you need for a peaceful stay. It is a quiet area but I think my room was over a boiler of some description (I was at the back of the pub) which caused a white noise at bedtime and in the morning. If you are noise sensitive then perhaps mention when booking. Breakfast was very good, all freshly cooked and lovely restaurant area, bright and sunny. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

This is a very popular pub which served good food and plenty of choice of drinks. The accomodation was clean and comfortable with a decent sized room. The service was very good and we would be happy to stay there again.

Lovely friendly stay.
I stayed for 4 days during the week so saw two different teams of staff, every single one of whom was exactly the right level of friendly, approachable and pleasantly conversational without ever being intrusive.
The food was excellent with a special mention for the mushroom risotto which was frankly gorgeous enough to end wars.
The beer was well kept, the internet worked and there was always a parking space.

Excellent dinner and breakfast, noisy rooms
Cute little place in a nice location. Nicely decorated and comfy room. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Lots of noise with little soundproofing till about 11:30pm from kitchen downstairs and banging doors so don’t expect an early night! Room was hot even though temperature outside was mild. Overall nice stay but would request a quieter room if possible. We stayed in an upstairs room

A delightful country inn. We had a lovely room which was clean and quiet. There is a very good restaurant which serves a wide variety of delicious food. All of the staff were excellent.

Had a really lovely stay at the Queen's Arms for one night. Two of our party had dogs and the outside rooms were ideal with a safe area for feeding them and a nice sitting area for us. Footpath from the pub made walking them easy without the need to drive anywhere. The thing that stood out even more than the great food and very comfortable clean rooms was the very lovely staff and great service. Nothing was too much trouble. Delicious breakfast too. We will return.
