I came to Huizhou for two days and set a homestay close to Renmin Road Night Market. The service far exceeded expectations~ I was too satisfied.
Although it is written to be renovated in 2020, it only opened this year, and there are not so many people for the time being. The hotel facilities are very complete, with meeting rooms, garden courtyards, mahjong rooms, free parking, and even their own charging piles. The toilet is heated and the hygiene is very clean. The facilities in the room were originally introduced and the title was very clear. It was very suitable for parent-child travel and came next time.
By the way, the breakfast is also very rich, I can't finish eating at all 🫢

The room was clean, quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. Then the front desk service attitude is warm and parking is free. There are many restaurants around, and there is Tamsui Old Town nearby for a walk, with beautiful lights at night.

GGuest UserThe host was a very kind and courteous gentleman trying his best to accommodate us in ways possible for him because we don't speak Mandarin and he doesn't speak English. He helped set up the address for food delivery app as well since the app works in Mandarin. That way we were able to order food on Meituan. The location is excellent offering excellent views of the sea front. The condominium has a direct access to the beach and we had a good time. It was extremely cold out of the blue for just those 3-4 days of December since an additional cold wave was sweeping across southern China during our stay at that place. The heater component of one of the ACs was not as efficient as the second AC but overall it was a great experience. Besides this small issue we had a great time. He was helpful enough to provide us with additional quilts as a result. We needed an extension for check out. It came at a reasonable cost and as a result we had more time and very happy with his services as well since it gave us some flexibility to check-out and head back to our destination more leisurely.

GGuest UserThe view and location are great. We had a lovely sea view. The room was large and the beds reasonably comfortable with good new sheets. The towels were new and substantial. The large fridge was useful but the freezer was frozen up and unusable.
On the negative side, the furniture looked tacky and the wooden flooring had weirdly shrunk (unseasoned wood?) leaving wide gaps. The bathroom was functional but worn and tired looking. The sink leaked when we arrived but it was fixed fairly quickly. The room was not cleeaned nor beds made every day. They only provided two small bottles of water once per booking. The apartment block is enormous and being a fine example of cheerless cold, brutalist functionalism, confusing as it all looks exactly the same.
Re the beach. When we arrived it was packed and as the cleantel seem to like their trash artistically enhancing the beach and accomaning them as swimming buddies in the sea, was a bit icky until mid week when the vast numbers of beach artistes had left. Both the beach and the sea then became boringly clean and less entertaining.
In summary, it's cheap and cheerless and handy for the beach. It short, a glorified no frills beach hut that served its purpose

LLORENTCThis place is something special it's located on the 14th floor pretty big room about 80 plus square meters and in addition to the view going to the mountains and to the sea and addition to the view from bathroom as well from a bathtub is just gorgeous apart from that pretty standard hotel everything is on place and anything that you are need is provided. Good ratio you get for what you paid for. Breakfast is okay you can take it as well you can pick anything from a variety of seafood restaurants and places around.
View from the room mind boggling. Everything in the description for the hotel and the room itself is accurate so you got exactly what's written there. The location of the hotel is the prime spot. In order to get to this place you can either go by train to train station and from the train station you can take a taxi which will cost you around 50-70 RMB depending on the traffic or you can use a bus that will be a little bit longer but the price of that is going to be equal to less than 10 rmb. Going off season for a visit it feels almost like stealing the prices are absolutely affordable.

We were fortunate to receive a complimentary upgrade from the owner, and I was impressed by the cleanliness and tidiness of the space. It was my first experience with disposable bath and hand towels, which added an extra layer of hygiene that I truly appreciated.
The room's interior and the surrounding area are beautifully designed in a traditional Chinese style, contributing to a serene atmosphere. Additionally, there's a waterfall nearby, which serves for great photos.
When it comes to dining options, there are several restaurants within a short 5-minute walk. Alternatively, you can enjoy a meal at the restaurant located downstairs. If you're up for a little more exploration, simply take a left at the entrance and walk a bit further to discover a vibrant night market near the university. GGuest UserWe booked queen bedroom with ocean view. Room was nice and view was awesome. Bed and mattress good quality and there is nice area where you can just chill and watch sunset. Room was fairly small but enough for two people to have a nice time together. Part that I don’t like is the bathroom. There is an area next to the window with a sink that you can use for cleaning your hands and washing your teeth is the morning but it’s separated from actual shower and toilet. Shower/toilet room is 1.5x1.5m. Small and not great quality and without any mirror inside.
Room itself was fairly clean but windows were smudged and I could see dust. Personally I don’t mind that but if I am paying 600+ rmb per night room should be spotless when I check-in.
On the bright side, staff was very helpful and friendly.
Deal was without breakfast and for 91$ per night I must say it was not worth it.
My score if I include the price would be 2.8/5
If price was less than 50$ dollars per night I would increase my score to 4.5/5
Overall if we exclude price it was positive experience.

PPeggy FokI only have high praise for this quaint and tasteful B&B! I had to extend my stay for an extra two nights as it was everything I wanted and more. It is so nicely decorated and situated on the main path of the famous Huizhou West Lake where there are a row of vendors selling local snacks and souvenirs. I can’t even begin to express how beautiful and serene it was to wake up to this view and to admire the lake at night when all the temples light up and little boats with their red lights are cruising around. There is even a rooftop where I enjoyed a Corona as the sunset . Absolute dreamy. And only steps away are the LED lit up streets full of restaurants, coffee shops, whisky bar, etc. and the opposite path leads you to historical tourist spots. The owner was beyond amazing and helpful as I arrived during National Week so she had her staff pick my up on a moped, offered drinks for me, told me where to go and eat, ordered Starbucks coffee for me, and even helped me get medicine from the pharmacy. I highly recommend this B&B and will return for sure !

GGuest UserNice view on the sea if you take the room in front of the sea. There rental electric bike close to on the road. There is a nice surf club just dowstairs, named APD, where you can afford beers and nice coffee hot or cold at good price, with super nice staff? LAOWAI take care, Macdonald is bit far away but they deliver to your room. Lot of seafood restaurant all around.
About room, we can t give 5 stars because we saw some cockrach, and there is just no matress...
It s missing definitly a fridge...
Well in August there is too much people so lift is always very busy. At night tourist are using a lot of fireworks, and let garbage on the beach, it s sad for the nature, but it s theirs.
Better make a big nap in afternoon cause anyway you won' t be able to sleep with this war outside until 1AM.
Don t go at the Turtle thing up the south hill, it s, just useless.
You can rent a boat that bring you to an island, but there is only this choice and water is not clear, we just saw urchin.
Still at the end we enjoyed a lot. Just a pity tourist don t know how to behave. Don t come or leave on week end since driving is a skill they did not learnt yet and streets are not ready for big ammount of people.

GGuest UserIt is completely real! Especially good, very clean! Butler Miss Li is afraid of mosquitoes, and also helps us to close the windows and balcony doors in each room in advance. There are no mosquitoes at night. Breakfast can be eaten in the first owner's canteen in the park. The Nordic style canteen has a large variety of breakfasts! At first I couldn't believe it. I could rent such a shabby villa on May Day. The price was still so favorable. Later, I found that it was the landlord who rented the house directly. There was no middleman to earn the difference. Hahahaha. I have already recommended it to my friends, it is really great! I will come back later.

TTanIt is our first time traveling and visiting Huizhou. We really would like to stay in a sea-view room. and this apartment is the cheapest and budget-friendly one that offers the sea view that we are looking for. The room, it's bigger than what we expected, and the balcony is superb with an ocean view. The room is clean and the staff cleans the room every day and changes the towels and brings toiletries every day. There's wifi access in the room. The room has an electric kettle for coffee which is nice. There are barbeque and seafood restaurants around, and it's accessible to taxis and didi. The down part of our stay is the shoreline was restricted because it was under construction at that time, there's a designated part of the beach where you can stay and enjoy the water that is more than one km. from the apartment. The building itself and the community is quiet. Our whole stay is very relaxing and comfortable. The manager of the apartment is very accommodating and can talk and understand English. We highly recommend this hotel apartment. They are foreigner friendly stay.
