Hotel et Spa l'Eclose by Odalys ★★★
"I don't often write reviews unless I feel it deserves it. Due to the reviews on here about this apart hotel I was fairly nervous about what we were going to find. Thankfully my fears were quickly settled from the minute we walked in the door. I have to say that our stay here was very good!! and in my opinion does not deserve the reviews it has. We had a very warm welcome on arrival, we arrived at 4pm and were told our apartment wasn't quite ready till 5pm, we were prepared for this as it pretty clear on their website that we can check in after 5pm. Staff at the reception were very helpful from the minute we arrived till we left, absolutely no issues here. Our accommodation was modern, spacious and very clean. we had a 2 bedroom (1 double room with ensuite and a twin room, bathroom and separate toilet.) perfect for 2 adults and 3 boys. beds we comfy and plenty cupboard space for clothes. Locker rooms were the only slight downside, whilst the lockers were spacious enough, if I am being very picky it would be good to have heated lockers to dry off boots particularly in spring with all the melted snow. but I am being really picky!! Location is ok, again I am being pretty picky here, there is an uphill walk of around 300m from the lockers to the Alp express which takes you to the ski lifts, in ski boots this is pretty frustrating as my youngest found out, but it wouldn't stop me booking here again! Swimming pool was very nice, there are a number of reviews saying it was cold, whilst we were there it was really nice temp, (yes not bath temp) but not cold at all! very pleasant after a day on the slopes. Facilities here were always very clean when we used them. (We didn't use the spa facilities) We booked each morning for breakfast, whilst this is probably an expensive way to do it the breakfast was very nice and there was a lot of variety in which to help your self(buffet style) There are a number of negative reviews stating the cleaning of the apartment before you leave- yes this is frustrating given that you pay to use the hotel, but in the alps this is pretty common place and tbf all we did was wash dishes, sweep/hoover floor (equipment in the appt) clean toilets and showers, maybe 60mins of tidy up was all that was required, its not too much and worth doing to save loosing your deposit. All in I could not find any faults with this accommodation, we were very pleased with our apartment and I would happily book here again without hesitation."
Chalet Hotel Alp'Azur ★★★
"Lovely place in a great location, with very friendly and welcoming staff. I thought it was very reasonably priced for the quality of accommodation. It has a warm and traditional chalet feel and was spotlessly clean at all times. We were a group of three, 1 adult, 2 teenage boys (16 and 18) and stayed in a triple room (room 21). The room was nicely decorated, the 3 single beds were comfortable, the bathroom was a decent size, the shower was powerful and always hot. Our room didn't have a balcony, as not every room does, but this didn't bother us particularly. It was a South-facing room, and the view was superb. Breakfast - continental with high quality breads, pastries, cheeses, meats, eggs, cereal, quiche and tarts. Perfect. Wifi - free, not quite up to streaming, but fine for everything else. Ski and boot storage - plenty room in the ski room accessed from outside. Boot room with dryers/warmers accessible from reception. Nearby - 3 ski rental shops within a few meters of the hotel, loads of restaurants and bars within a very short walk. Ski access - bucket lift across the road which takes you to the bottom of the pistes. You can ski back to the hotel, but it's pretty flat so not much good on a snowboard! Criticisms - nothing of note. The room was too hot on the first night, even with the radiator switched off. Open the window in the evening and it's fine, as long as there is no-one singing on the street in the early hours! If I return to Alpe d'Huez, I'll probably go back to this hotel."
Grandes Rousses Hotel & Spa ★★★★★
"We just spent a week here, and as we mentioned the service is world class and deserves recognition. Everyone, from front desk to the people helping with fixing the room do a great job with a friendly smile! Well done. The hotel is also very well located in the village, and with nicely set up facilities, bar and restaurant. Breakfast is great. Only small minus, the room was a little small (but we are in the alps. The south facing terrace is great with a fabulous view!"
PopAlp ★★★
"I stayed here with a group of work colleagues for a Winter Confetence. I can’t speak highly enough of the people there who did everything they could to make our stay as great as possible. All the staff were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The location is great for access to the slopes with two lifts within a few meters. There are a load of great restaurants within easy reach of the hotel but it also does great food on the premises. The accommodation was really clean and well maintained and there are amazing views from the rooms. I can thoroughly recommend this for a great stay and will definitely be going back."
Le Castillan ★★★
"My son and I stayed at Le Castillan late March early April. Everything was just perfect! The hotel was exceptionally clean, the staff was very friendly and the restaurant is a must try!"
Le Pic Blanc ★★★★
"Arrival at 15:30 to get my room reservation for 16h. I had to raise the tone at 17:30 because I still had no room. Seeing the floor room in the hall of my room, faced with the lifts was not worthy of a 4-star. The entrance of the hotel is not open, full of snow and smoke on the ground or cracked on the top of the hotel's letter box."
Résidence Odalys l'Éclose ★★★★
"I like this accommodation but I don't like spa zone. Sauna was too small for 3-4 people max. Swimming pool was overcrowded."
Hôtel Au Chamois d'Or by les Etincelles ★★★★★
"Fabulous hotel - great ski in ski out - lockers are super and with a spa to unwind before a great meal it is the best place to be"
Royal Ours Blanc Boutique Hôtel & Spa ★★★★
"Very good hotel right in the middle of the station"

"just and awful place which has been left to ruin, no care no thought corporate owner who has never visited the place and it tells. Claims to be a 6 bedroom, but they have counted the garage as a bedroom. Everything shabby, horrible chalet seriously don’t bother booking it doesn’t deserve your money."
