Very nice place to be

Super clean big spacious room with separate bathroom bathup. Friendly staff excellent service. Nice ping pong and playstation room.

Positives: - Huge room - cable tv (not the usual 第四台） - separate toilet and bathing area - separate shower and tub - tub has ocean view - hotel big on sustainability (no disposable toiletries provided, as well as no bottled water - can fill water using water dispensers outside the rooms) - child friendly hotel with children’s activity room - in house sauna! - pet friendly hotel too with a pet room for pets to stay Negatives: - room has a step up which may be inconvenient for ppl with disabilities - the separate toilet and shower area is in between the sleeping area which may be a bit inconvenient - bed is a tad soft

The room was clean and had a nice ocean view and small balcony. Helpful staff and good breakfast buffet. Not near the nigh market but there are restaurants around. Good experience.

Short stopover stay at Hualien for Taroko. Rooms are clean. A bit far away from the centre but there are few nice restaurants nearby. Didn’t use the facilities so can’t comment much.

It is a very good hotel for the price it charges. Only problem is the bed and too soft.

The breakfast options were quite varied. My family and I stayed in a twin room this time, but if you're taller than 175cm, you might find the bed a bit insecure. >< The room was very clean. Even if you didn't specifically choose a room with a view, you could still enjoy the vast mountain views from the curtains. ⛰️✨ The only drawback was the lack of electrical outlets and a tabletop mirror. Women had to stand in the entrance hall or use the bathroom mirror to put on makeup.

There is a sauna and gym, which is very convenient. The room is clean and the bed is very comfortable. I will come again next time.

The cozy bed sheet, placed for environmental reasons, was at least clean, not visibly stained, and placed on the clean, tidy bunk. The water in the room was running very slowly at 7 PM. The elevator lobby, from check-in to check-out, hadn't been cleaned for over 12 hours. The gym equipment was dirty, the floor was filthy, and the alcohol sensor was broken. The only positive was the breakfast room; the staff were polite and the dishes were unique. Ctrip's five-star rating is worth considering; it's a mistake!

The hotel is located a little further from the city, the lobby is spacious, the counter staff are friendly, and the check-in procedure is fast and accurate. This time I chose the plan without breakfast. There was a discount if I chose to purchase breakfast on site, but I wanted to have breakfast nearby the next day. The room was upgraded upon check-in to a room with a city view. The room was large and very clean. There were two cans of drinks in the refrigerator and a kettle that could be filled with water from the water dispenser in the corridor. The bathroom has a large bathtub. It is very comfortable to take a bath when returning to the hotel at night after traveling. The water volume and temperature in the bathroom are stable, which is good. The bed felt a bit soft, but the pillows were quite comfortable. The only downside was that the sound insulation was not very good, and I could still hear some noise from the neighboring room.

What surprised me most about staying at Hualien Lakeshore Hotel this time was that the breakfast time was open all the way until noon, which is very considerate for travelers who like to sleep in late. The breakfast is rich in variety and quick to replenish. No matter what time you go downstairs, you can always eat hot dishes.
