"I booked a non-smoking room, but my room contained an ashtray, cigarette dispenser, and smelled like smoke. In fact, the whole floor smelled like smoke. When I turned on the shower, it consistently smelled like sewage for the first several minutes. This happened every time I showered. Most irritating however is the front desk. I gave them my passport and phone number when I checked in. I watched the lady enter it into the computer. Later, someone called my room saying they needed my phone number again, but didn't provide a reason. Then, a staff member came to my room asking to see my passport. They said they scanned the wrong page? This person also identified themself as the desk MANAGER...She then proceeded to take a picture of my passport with her cellphone. Very sketchy. When I pressed her on it, she told me the local police needed it, but she also said she scanned the wrong page minutes earlier. So which is it?? There was quite a language barrier. Still not sure if this was some kind of scam or not."
