Anantara Hua Hin Resort

I was unsure which hotel to choose, but Anantara was the right choice. I was able to relax very much. It was far from the center, but I was glad that I was able to relax.

It is far from the city, and the room is old, but it is well maintained. The garden is beautiful, and you can drink in the swimming pool, which is very relaxing. Unfortunately, there is no beach, and the surrounding area is also desolate. The parrot 🦜 at the door is a highlight. It was teased for a long time, but it didn't talk. The service is good, and mosquito coils were lit when turning down the bed at night. It is recommended to keep some fish in the water tank 🐟, otherwise there are too many mosquitoes.

Personally, I think it's the most comfortable hotel in Hua Hin, very quiet

Traditional Thai style garden and sea view hotel, great! Stayed in the sea view terrace room, the facilities are new enough, the bed and pillow are very clean and comfortable, especially sitting in the small garden outside the sliding door, singing and drinking tea in the breeze, less than 20 meters away from the beach. The breakfast is rich, the service is in place, and the swimming pool is big enough. I especially like the restaurant by the sea, Thai food and sea view, delicious! Only a few mosquitoes invaded when the terrace door was opened at night, but everything else was very satisfactory.

The hotel is far from the city, and it is very difficult to get a taxi during meal time. One day, I had to wait for 40 minutes. There was no car, so I took a motorcycle to the city and arrived in 15 or 20 minutes. There is nothing delicious nearby, but I really don’t want to eat in the hotel. I strongly recommend a restaurant called Mama Restaurant across the road. It is really simple and delicious. You must order the seafood fried rice. The coconut milk soup is also very good. There are a lot of cars crossing the road, so you must be careful. The environment of the hotel is very good, and it is the first Anantara, basically it has everything that should be there. The children's playground is very small, and some activities are charged. There is free yoga every morning, which is good, but the quality of the teachers is uneven. Then the gym is quite far from the gate. The fruit mini bar in the room is not free. What's more outrageous is that the bath ball is charged. Fortunately, I brought a few. The breakfast is quite rich, which is slightly different every day. I drink two cups of my favorite Thai milk sparkling water every day. For breakfast, Shengtai Lan is still number one. The service is still very good. I saw a super big lizard. There seem to be a lot of them in the garden, and there are also in the pool. I asked the staff, and they said that he eats everything, but they will not eat for them, and told us to stay away from lizards, birds, insects, and squirrels. It's still quite primitive. In general, the two days are quite pleasant, but it's a bit boring to be away from the city. The next day, I took a taxi back to the city to have a massage. The hotel here said we had twin rooms, but in the end we only had king-size rooms. The hotel staff was particularly bad. When we went to see them, the sea view rooms were all on the first floor, and there were people coming and going, which was completely different from what we expected. Finally, we went there, and they changed us to a lagoon view room. I had to give them a tip to get me a good room. There was a nice person at the front desk, but the girl who took us to see the room was really bad. Another thing was that there were only two twin rooms with sea view. When the Ctrip staff assisted us in communicating, they only said that they might not be able to reserve them, but they didn't tell me that there were only two. If that was the case, I might change to another room. 

It was great that all the front desk staff were kind and explained things carefully. As for breakfast, there was a wide variety of dishes on the menu, including not only Thai and Western food but also Japanese and Chinese food, which changed every day, so I never got bored of eating. Since it was a buffet style, the tables tended to be small, but they quickly cleared away any empty plates and glasses, so I was able to eat comfortably. There is also the sea and the pool, so it is a great place to relax. There was also a shuttle bus to get to the city center, which was very convenient.
