King Sitric

We had an incredible eight-day stay at the King Sitric in mid-July, and now I know firsthand why it’s rated #1 for accommodations in Howth. Our room was spacious, and the view of the water was wonderful. The Sitric provided a great base for exploring Howth and the surrounding costal area, including Dublin. The train station is a mere two blocks away, and we took it often using a seven-day pass that we purchased before our trip (very easy to do on-line.) Another plus, the taxi from the airport was so fast and simple and only 50 euro with tip, but one could also take the train. Although The Sitric restaurant is “the best” — we ate there four times — there are also a number of other good choices near by. Everything is so fresh… oysters, lobster, fish. (I should note that a made-to-order breakfast is included, and the choices are fresh and satisfying, and a great way to start each day.) And the best for last — the staff was top-notch and very accommodating. I will add that we travel all over the world, and we found this small boutique hotel to be such a refreshing experience in which to enjoy Ireland. My only suggestion — stay at the Sitric for more than a day or two. You’ll be glad you did…

Location excellent, free parking near by. Staff very welcoming. Would def recommend , and stay again. Inc hot breakfast. Room modern clean very comfortable. Win .

Spent a lovely overnight here last week. Perfect location right on the shore and easy walk anywhere in the village. Beds and room were comfortable and clean. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. We would absolutely stay here again. Had dinner in the restaurant - best lobster we've ever eaten. All seafood fresh from local fishermen in the local sea. Superb. Be sure to take a boat trip, and do the Cliff Walk. One of our favorite places on our trip. Thanks King Sitric!

Rooms were lovely, spotless, and stylishly decorated. Dinner at the seafood bar was fantastic, and so was the complimentary breakfast. Howth is a wonderful area as well. Comparing King Sitric to Portmarnock & Jameson resort, I would definitely choose King Sitric as the winner. The rooms were nicer, and just much more character to the place. Stay here - you won’t regret it!

Amazing We will come back to Ireland just to stay at King Sitric! Our room was incredible, with views straight out to the ocean. We had every single amenity in the room including a towel warmer, robes and slippers, hot chocolate, tea, coffee, 2 lovely sitting areas and the most comfortable bed with luxurious linens and pillows. I could have just stayed in the room drinking tea, reading a book, and gazing at the incredible views! Breakfast was included and had just about anything you could think of. We had a fabulous experience!

Excellent Stay This was an excellent stay! The room was clean and so comfortable. The shower was great and the Breakfast that is available is amazing. The view was gorgeous and the staff were very helpful. We wished we had booked a couple more nights here.
