Travelodge Heathrow Heston M4 Westbound

Value for money, comfy bed, good water pressure but not convenient if you’re taking public transport. The nearest bus stop appears 8 min walk away, but when you’re carrying heavy luggage in the cold at night, it was no fun. Uber kept cancelling on us in the morning when we tried to book a ride to the airport, maybe because this place is right by the motorway.

Great stay in a comfortable and affordable hotel. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. In particular Akaash was very polite and helped me ensure my stay went smoothly.

Had a great experience staying at this hotel. Had a flight at Heathrow so decided to stay here as the location was extremely convenient - roughly a 10 minute drive. My friends and I were greeted by Rahul who exhibited extreme pleasantries and professionalism. Our experience was made better as he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The hotel itself was quiet and clean, which was a bonus. Would recommend.

We stayed at the Travelodge for one night, purely for its convenient location close to Heathrow Airport. We have stayed in several Travelodge locations, so knew what to expect: basic, clean, no frills. Unfortunately, our first impressions on arrival were not great, as the hotel is situated within a motorway service station and the entrance felt tired, rundown and very basic. We arrived late in the evening and the staff greeting us at check-in were rather cold and unfriendly, dressed in casual clothes and not hotel branded, which didn’t set a welcoming tone. The hallways to the hotel felt run-down and had some strange odours. The room itself was very basic and, somewhat surprisingly, still used an old-fashioned key rather than a card system!? The bed was just about adequate, but the bathroom was extremely plain and lacked any modern touches. Overall, it was simply ‘okay’ for a night’s sleep, but we didn’t enjoy our stay and wouldn’t return. Although other Travelodge properties have been basic/no-frills and we would potentially consider a return, this property needs a major makeover to bring it up to date and create a fresher, more inviting atmosphere. As it stands, this Travelodge is very much a budget option and doesn’t offer much more than the essentials. Sadly, our experience at this location has left a bad taste in our mouths for the Travelodge brand, and we will most likely not stay at a Travelodge again and spend a bit more money to stay somewhere a bit nicer….even if it is just one night.
