We stayed during a road trip for five nights in a wonderful room with a view of the bridge and river. We plan to stay again next summer, as the room was very clean and service was perfect.

This hotel seems brand new. It’s right on the water. The people were nice. Parking was easy. The room was large and clean. The bed had good pillows. And the top floor bar was nice.

What a difference three years makes. The hotel has been nicely revamped since our last stay. Our room on the top floor with balcony looked out over the waterway and was nicely appointed. The restaurant on the 7th floor is a good spot to enjoy a light meal and drinks. The breakfast was nicely done, and every hotel employee was courteous and friendly. I'd recommend this as a great stay in Houghton and would definitely come back again.

My husband and I stayed here three nights on vacation in September 2025. We had a top floor water view room and it was spectacular. The hotel was so clean, and newly remodeled. We were impressed by the pool and the laundry facilities (used both), and the top floor bar made excellent drinks and the bartender was skilled and professional. The only downside to our stay was that there were some staffing issues so the bar was not serving food while we are there. A very minor hiccup in a nearly perfect stay!

I contacted the front desk because our room was really cold when we arrived. We had tried to adjust the thermostat, but the temperature couldn't be changed. The front desk said there was nothing they could do because the building was set at a certain temperature; the gentleman at the front desk offered a blanket. I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you like having the ability to adjust your room temperature.

Very nice hotel, it is clean, and it is probably your best option in Houghton. Super helpful staff. The only reason why I gave it a 4 was because I think it needs some upgrading.

Was put in a basement room despite other rooms being available and asking to change. I chose this hotel bc of the views and ended up looking out the window up into a parking lot and people walking by. Very disappointing

Horrible pool
Pool chemicals were to the level of toxic. We went in for a few minutes and my eyes were burning from just sitting in the hot tub. My kids swam in the pool a few minutes but we left quickly after they couldn’t quit coughing due to the amount of chemicals in the pool.
