"This stay was really a surprise! The location of the hotel is particularly convenient, very close to the business district, and there is no need to worry about travel. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft, the bed was very comfortable, the front desk service was also superb, the check-in efficiency was very high, and any problems could be solved quickly. Parking is also very convenient, the hotel's robot service is also very intimate, and it is super convenient to send things. "Location: This is a major plus. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel called 'Sanjiao Huayuan West' (Triangle Garden West), which has a direct route (Bus 909) to Ta'er Monastery. I've even shared a detailed guide on a certain social media platform. If you walk uphill and slightly to the left from the hotel, you'll reach Beidajie (North Street). Turning right and walking forward from Beidajie leads you to Nandajie (South Street), Mojia Street, and attractions like Jinta Temple, Hongjiao Temple, and the Confucius Temple. All these are within a comfortable 1-2 km walking distance, which is excellent. Service: The front desk staff were competent and professional. They provided all the necessary information and reminders. While they weren't overly enthusiastic, I felt their service was very thorough and attentive. They reminded me of everything I needed to know and were responsive to requests. Facilities: I booked a business twin room on the 25th floor with outdoor views. The window could be opened. Since it faced east, the room was a bit warm when I first entered, but once the air conditioning was on, the overall temperature became comfortable. I turned off the AC at night because it got a bit chilly. The housekeeping staff were very efficient and kept the room spotless. Free bottled water was replenished daily, except for one large bottle explicitly marked in the room as costing 5 RMB – that's something to note. Afternoon Tea: I tried the afternoon tea. There was nothing particularly special about it – a pot of tea, some popcorn, four small pastries, and a small bowl of fruit. So, if you're tired and don't feel like going out, and it's offered complimentary between 2 PM and 5 PM, it's worth trying. I wouldn't recommend purchasing it separately as it's not particularly good value. Additionally, I didn't book breakfast because I wanted to sleep in. For breakfast, if you walk out of the hotel, turn right, then uphill to the first intersection and turn right again, opposite the primary school, there's a place called 'He Yonglong Da Gu Tang' (He Yonglong Big Bone Soup). I found it to be very affordable. You pay for the bone broth, and the flatbreads, sweet garlic, and dried radishes are all free. Two of us had a large bowl, and it was incredibly good value. Overall, highly recommended."

"The location is wonderful if you need the train, as it is literally just outside the train station, less than 10 minutes' walking from your train. We needed the day room to rest between the morning and evening trains, and it works well for us. However, there are some issues we did not like. 1. We booked and paid through Trip, but at the receipton (we checked in early, which was great!) the receiptionst requested 100 rmb, which he said was a deposit that must be paid on the spot, and will be refunded in the morning. This was suspicious to us because nothing of this sort was stated on Trip, and no other bookings in China we made through Trip ever required any deposits, even less so in cash. When I showed him the original booking and payment, and insisted that we are only taking the room for the day, he stopped insisting on the ”deposit.” 2. The room used to be very nice, indeed, and preserves some of that niceness still: the bed is wonderful, with crispy linen, multiple different pillows, and very clean. the bathroom is nicely decorated and contained basic amenities, and the storage space is wonderful and spacious. However, like in some other Chinese hotels we stayed, the indicators of maintenance are the shower and the carpeting. In this room, the bed is super clean, but the bathroom and carpeting are either poorly cleaned, or not at all. We found hair and even a wrapping in the shower, while the carpeting in the room, elevator, and corridors was not cleaned in a long time. And yet, there are some such nice touches in this room, like the living creeper placed in a small vase in the bathroom, or the very nice wardrobe. The room is currently missing a fridge (although there is space for it), and it has not AC, although the corridors are cooled well. Instead, there is a fan, which in the afternoon heat barely helped."

"We stayed another 2 nights during the May holidays. Surprisingly, Xining wasn't crowded except for the People's Park where plenty of tulips were in bloom. It was raining on 1 May, so we stayed in hotel. Hotel though old, was clean with standard amenities. Bathroom has a bath with shower curtains. No hooks for clothes in toilet/bathroom. Laundry room only has 1 washer, no dryer. We didn't use. Price was cheap. Breakfast was a bowl of mee, some veg and an egg at restaurant next door. We were given breakfast vouchers."

"The most satisfying hotel along the way by car, the price is very high, the friends who drive by car can choose here! Xining itself has not many attractions. If you want to avoid the urban congestion, you can consider finding a hotel with convenient transportation and parking on the edge of the city. We originally wanted to set the west area of the city. I heard that the west area of the city is more prosperous, but I looked at the attractions. It is generally close to the east area of the city. So I finally decided on this hotel, just on the edge of the Beijing-Tibet Expressway, there is also Wuyue Square nearby, transportation and food and lodging are convenient, it is not the peak season, the hotel has no people, upgraded a room type, big to outrageous, although the old Samsung hotel facilities are a bit old, but the price is full, Praise! ps: The parking lot is at the back door of the hotel. There is a courier site in the yard. If you want to buy supplies online for long-distance travel, you can communicate with the hotel front desk in advance. We found out that it was too late to buy things, but it happened to be possible to send the souvenirs you bought."

The front desk staff are incredibly warm and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions about waffles or anything else. They're patient, attentive, and very accommodating. The hotel offers free parking with charging stations, and the breakfast buffet has a wide variety of dishes that will satisfy everyone's taste, no matter where they're from. It's very quiet at night, and Xining's summer climate is fantastic; it's cool enough that you don't even need air conditioning."
