What we liked: - We received a friendly welcome from the hotel staff. - The Family Room was spacious and comfortably accommodated three adults, or would be suitable for two adults and two children. - The AI-controlled lights, curtains, and TV added a modern and convenient touch to the room. - We made use of the gym and self-service laundry facilities, which were convenient and well maintained. - Although the hotel is not located in as lively an area as Wanda, it was about a 1 km leisurely walk to the shopping district. We also managed to enjoy a late-night hotpot dinner at a nearby restaurant. - The hotel is located in a quieter area, so guests looking for more shopping and dining options within walking distance may prefer staying closer to Wanda. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel for comfortable stay.

Waking up to the city skyline right outside my window, with the morning sun painting the clouds, was simply breathtaking. The breakfast, a fantastic spread of both Western and Chinese dishes, truly set me up for the day – from freshly cooked noodles to aromatic freshly ground coffee. Plus, having complimentary access to the gym and laundry room was a thoughtful touch that really rounded out the five-star experience!

On this business trip to Xining, I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Xining Chengdong the entire time, and my overall experience was fantastic. I have to especially commend Julie at the front desk; her meticulous service made me feel incredibly welcome. The hotel is located on Bayi East Road in Chengdong District, right next to Wuyue Plaza, making dining and shopping very convenient. It's also not far from the highway entrance and Xining Station, which is great for both driving and public transport. As a newly opened hotel, the lobby design is elegant, and the room amenities are brand new and complete. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a wide view, and the room was spotlessly clean. The 24-hour gym and self-service laundry facilities are well-equipped, and the breakfast buffet offers a rich variety, including local Qinghai specialties like yak yogurt and甜醅 (sweet fermented oats). I arrived feeling exhausted in the evening after a long journey. Julie greeted me with a constant smile and efficiently handled the check-in process. Seeing my heavy luggage, she proactively offered to help carry it and patiently explained the room facilities, Wi-Fi password, laundry room, and breakfast times. When I casually asked about self-driving routes to Qinghai Lake and local food spots, she patiently outlined an itinerary, even recommending niche attractions and reminding me about precautions for high-altitude travel. When my room card stopped working, I contacted the front desk and Julie came to resolve the issue within minutes, without any pretense. Her service was professional yet down-to-earth throughout, without any rigid formalities; she genuinely thought about the guests. While good hardware is a hotel's foundation, warm service is what truly adds value. Thanks to Julie's thoughtful service, my travel fatigue disappeared. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Xining, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

The room was very spacious, and I even got a free upgrade. It was clean and tidy, and the service was warm and welcoming, especially an older staff member at the front desk who proactively greeted me and helped with my luggage to the room, which made a great impression! Breakfast was also good.

The staff quickly brought charging equipment and thoughtfully reminded me to call if I needed anything else. The room was meticulously cleaned, even the corners were spotless, and the bed was soft and quiet. I worked late into the night, and there was hardly any noise in the hallway, so I slept very soundly. The location is convenient for getting around, and the overall atmosphere is warm. A small, unexpected hiccup actually made this stay particularly memorable. I'll definitely choose this place again next time because this hotel is just so heartwarming, and the service is incredibly attentive. Aside from the view outside the window, just this detailed and thoughtful service alone left a great impression. It's excellent value for money and well worth staying.

The facilities are complete, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. The place is clean and tidy, the environment is quiet, and the service lady is very thoughtful. It was a rare and pleasant stay. The hotel staff are very kind, and the food at the restaurant on the second floor is delicious.

Very nice rooms and view, very clean and friendly staff, but the aircon was centrally set and quite hot, and the breakfast was basically egg, toast and a few condiments.

As soon as I arrived, a doorman proactively helped me with my luggage and directed me to the Sky Lobby on the 21st floor. Check-in was super efficient, and they even thoughtfully recognized my member status and upgraded my room for free, along with complimentary fresh welcome fruit. The 24-hour front desk was always responsive to my needs; whether I needed directions or extra items, they were quick to assist. The staff were friendly and professional in every detail, adding a touch of warmth to my trip. Secondly, the facilities were comprehensive and high-end, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The design of the Sky Lobby was simply stunning, blending Chinese style with panoramic views. In the evening, I even caught a breathtaking sunset – perfect for photos! My room was spacious and bright, with a well-designed layout covering over 50 square meters. It featured a soft sofa, a large desk, and even a humidifier to combat the dry climate in the Northwest, which was a very thoughtful touch. The guest rooms were fully intelligent, with features like sensor lighting and electric blackout curtains adding a futuristic feel. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and a bathtub, and the toiletries were high-quality. The King Koil mattress provided an amazing sleep experience. The hotel also boasts a free gym, a table tennis room, a book bar, and a tea room – perfect for either exercise and relaxation or quiet reading. The amenities truly cater to various needs. What truly surprised me was the breakfast – it was abundant and unique. Served at the buffet restaurant on the 5th floor, it covered everything from Chinese and Western to Halal cuisine, with an incredibly wide variety. There was freshly prepared Lanzhou beef noodles, authentic Halal 'Sazi Mahua' (fried dough twists), and other local specialties, along with hot dishes, cold dishes, congee, bread, seasonal fruits, and excellent freshly ground coffee and squeezed juices. I particularly recommend the hotel's yogurt; its rich and creamy texture was delicious with grains or fruit. The dining area was spacious and clean, with plenty of seating, so there was no need to wait in line – a perfect start to an energetic day. Additionally, the hotel's location is superb. It's right next to Xining Railway Station, just a few minutes' walk away. Within a 1-kilometer radius, there's a night market, large shopping malls, and the distinctive Mojia Street pedestrian area. It's also close to the Dongguan Great Mosque and the Huangshui River, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and finding food. The free public parking also eased any concerns for those traveling by car. It offers incredible value for money. In summary, Xining Qinghai Kaiyuan Grand Hotel excelled in every aspect, including service, facilities, and dining. It's perfectly suited for both business trips and leisure travel. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Xining and highly recommend it to everyone!

This stay exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the commercial district and attractions, just a few minutes' walk away. I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the room; it was spotlessly clean, with no dust even in the corners. The bed was just right in terms of softness, and I fell asleep quickly. The soundproofing was also good, I couldn't hear any noise from the hallway at all. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient with check-in and check-out. Any requests I had were promptly addressed with a quick phone call. The facilities were comprehensive, with stable hot water and clean bathrooms. It's incredibly good value for money. This will be my top choice when I visit this area again, and I've already recommended it to my friends!

The hotel boasts an excellent location in the city center, making it convenient for travel. Although it has been open for many years and the facilities are a bit dated, the rooms are very clean, and the mattresses and pillows are very comfortable. The hotel lobby and rooms feature many Want Want elements, and the rooms are stocked with plenty of Want Want snacks, which is very heartwarming. The front desk and room service are excellent and very friendly. I would definitely stay here again!
