My room was on a high floor with an unbeatable view, perfect for overlooking the city. The breakfast was plentiful, with a good mix of Western and Chinese options to suit all tastes. The thoughtful touch of unlimited complimentary bottled water by the elevators was fantastic for staying hydrated. The attention to detail and excellent service made for a very satisfying stay. Five stars, highly recommended!

It was clean and tidy, and the service was warm and welcoming, especially an older staff member at the front desk who proactively greeted me and helped with my luggage to the room, which made a great impression! It's close to the highway entrance and exit, and a short drive from Xining Station, making it very convenient for those traveling by car. Free underground parking is available. As a new establishment, the facilities are all brand new. The lobby boasts an elegant design with a natural ambiance. Guest rooms are spacious and equipped with height-adjustable desks, ergonomic chairs, and smart bathroom fixtures. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offer great views. The cleanliness is excellent, and the bedding is soft, ensuring a quiet and comfortable rest. The service is excellent, especially from Bella, An, and Lily. The breakfast buffet offers a good mix of Western and Chinese options. In addition to standard dishes, there's a special section for Qinghai local specialties like yak yogurt and 'Tianpei,' which are highly praised. Amenities include a 24-hour gym and a self-service laundry room, and the staff are attentive and polite. The only drawbacks are the lack of a swimming pool and its slightly distant location from the city center attractions. Overall, it offers excellent value for money and is highly suitable for both business and leisure travelers.

TTraveller YLI had a good experience in this hotel. It was previously booked by my tour and we extended our stay as our train to Lhasa was at 11pm. The staff were courteous and frequently checked in with us to check if everything is satisfactory. I was impressed by staff Jinjin (津津) as she noted that we were headed to the railway station and arranged a complimentary transfer for my family. Overall, I had a great stay and would recommend this hotel to friends and family visiting Xining in future.

TTravelfreeGood hotel, very modern and clean. The room was spacious and comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful. For the price it's great. However, we couldn't enjoy the breakfast much as it starts at 7:30, which is already fairly late for a hotel, and by 7:40 not even half of the breakfast was prepared and we had to leave, would have liked to try it especially considering it was included in the room and what we ate of it was fairly tasty. The curtain behind the bathtub doesnt sit in line with the wall so there is a bright light throughout the night from outside. The hotel was a bit difficult to find especially finding the Correct parking area for the building. The elevators are shared elevators and took over 10 minutes to go up to the 25th floor . And took 5 minutes of waiting to go down one floor to the reception, before we decided to take the stairs(which are very dirty) Apart from the above the hotel was very good and comfortable, clothes washing facilities were clean, coffee in the reception, and a cool fish tank along with very friendly helpful staff.

The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable, allowing for a good night's sleep. Pros: The hotel's service was very attentive, with friendly staff always ready to assist with any questions. The breakfast was also varied and delicious. Overall: This hotel offers excellent value for money, offering excellent location, room quality, and service. I highly recommend it. If I have the opportunity to stay again, I would definitely choose this hotel.

GGuest UserThe service was excellent, and they resolved issues quickly. They were also very responsive when I requested items. I found the pillow a bit high, so I asked for a buckwheat pillow and it was delivered very promptly. Big kudos to the front desk! My only minor complaint is that the room was quite dry; even with the humidifier they provided, it didn't seem to help much. Otherwise, everything else was great.

I absolutely have to sing its praises! First off, the service was exceptionally warm and attentive, making the entire experience fantastic. As soon as I arrived, a doorman proactively helped me with my luggage and directed me to the Sky Lobby on the 21st floor. Check-in was super efficient, and they even thoughtfully recognized my member status and upgraded my room for free, along with complimentary fresh welcome fruit. The 24-hour front desk was always responsive to my needs; whether I needed directions or extra items, they were quick to assist. The staff were friendly and professional in every detail, adding a touch of warmth to my trip. Secondly, the facilities were comprehensive and high-end, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The design of the Sky Lobby was simply stunning, blending Chinese style with panoramic views. In the evening, I even caught a breathtaking sunset – perfect for photos! My room was spacious and bright, with a well-designed layout covering over 50 square meters. It featured a soft sofa, a large desk, and even a humidifier to combat the dry climate in the Northwest, which was a very thoughtful touch. The guest rooms were fully intelligent, with features like sensor lighting and electric blackout curtains adding a futuristic feel. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and a bathtub, and the toiletries were high-quality. The King Koil mattress provided an amazing sleep experience. The hotel also boasts a free gym, a table tennis room, a book bar, and a tea room – perfect for either exercise and relaxation or quiet reading. The amenities truly cater to various needs. What truly surprised me was the breakfast – it was abundant and unique. Served at the buffet restaurant on the 5th floor, it covered everything from Chinese and Western to Halal cuisine, with an incredibly wide variety. There was freshly prepared Lanzhou beef noodles, authentic Halal 'Sazi Mahua' (fried dough twists), and other local specialties, along with hot dishes, cold dishes, congee, bread, seasonal fruits, and excellent freshly ground coffee and squeezed juices. I particularly recommend the hotel's yogurt; its rich and creamy texture was delicious with grains or fruit. The dining area was spacious and clean, with plenty of seating, so there was no need to wait in line – a perfect start to an energetic day. Additionally, the hotel's location is superb. It's right next to Xining Railway Station, just a few minutes' walk away. Within a 1-kilometer radius, there's a night market, large shopping malls, and the distinctive Mojia Street pedestrian area. It's also close to the Dongguan Great Mosque and the Huangshui River, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and finding food. The free public parking also eased any concerns for those traveling by car. It offers incredible value for money. In summary, Xining Qinghai Kaiyuan Grand Hotel excelled in every aspect, including service, facilities, and dining. It's perfectly suited for both business trips and leisure travel. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Xining and highly recommend it to everyone!
