Pattaya Hostels

The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and speak excellent English. The breakfast here is absolutely fantastic, I'd even call it a lunch! My room overlooked the garden, with a small bungalow-style table right outside the window. The building itself is made of foam blocks, so it stays cool; concrete takes longer to heat up. The fridge is huge, perfect for storing lots of fruit and water. It's right next to Na Baan Pier, and scooter parking is free. If you rent a scooter, make sure to video record it, noting all existing scratches! I give the hotel and staff a 5+++. You can enjoy unlimited tea and coffee! There's also a gate nearby for direct access to the sea. They even let me check in early! The owner explained everything about the mini-bar in the fridge, with prices clearly listed. I paid a 100 baht deposit, and he checked everything and returned it promptly.

The hotel's location is just so-so. It's about a 20-minute walk to the nearest beach, though the surrounding commercial area is quite convenient, with a large supermarket within 10 minutes. Compared to other hostels in Pattaya, this one doesn't quite measure up. Areas needing improvement: hygiene. The toilets, showers, and washbasins were very dirty. The toilet ventilation isn't great, which seems like a design flaw; I'd suggest adding more exhaust fans. The ceiling light in the shower room wasn't working, making it hard to see when washing. Regarding sleep, I was on a bottom bunk this time, and any movement from the person on the top bunk caused a lot of noise and shaking on my bed. This really affected my sleep; I was basically woken up constantly by the noise.

A good hotel if you like a place away from all the mayhem of Central Pattaya. The price was reasonable and the room was very clean! (I checked behind the TV, it was clean!). The service staff of the hotel really put in a lot of effort to keep everything clean and their room service is very thorough. The location: not so great, but if you spend 50 baht on a Grab motorbike you can be at Soi Bukhao or Central Pattaya in about 10 mins. Note that the hotel don't provide breakfast, but there are good breakfast places in the area. One small problem: no kettle or hot water. Oh well I bought one. Lastly, the room has a nice desk with drawers, if you need to do something productive or use a laptop etc. Overall a nice stay with really friendly staff!! ☺️

The location is about halfway between Pattaya and Jomtien. You can get to either, but it's difficult to get to either. I stayed the night before in preparation for a bus ride the next day, and the bus terminal is about a 10-minute walk away. The rooms are nice and spacious, so it might be a good place to relax for a long stay.

I have stayed here on several occasions. The rooms are of a good size, clean and tidy. The furniture and furnishings dated, and have seen better days, but are clean and functional. As this is a budget facility there is little one can complain about. The staff, freindly and helpful. Well located for beach road and Pattaya Central area.

This hotel is located in an area filled with clubs, pubs, night parties, and nightlife. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who prefers a quiet environment. But if you want to have fun and enjoy parties, this place is perfect. Finding the hotel can be a bit tricky, so check the location carefully before you go, otherwise you might get confused on the way. The 24-hour reception staff are available if you need anything. Check-in is at 3.00 pm and check-out is at 11.00 am. Early check-in is allowed depending on availability. I personally feel check-out at 12.00 pm would be better. The room doesn't have slippers, a hair dryer, or a toothbrush. Other than that, everything was okay.

There wasn't any hot water, but we knew that beforehand. The bathroom really could use a more thorough cleaning. The mattress was firm, but to each their own. The view was great; we sat on the balcony every evening and enjoyed it. We'll come again. We liked it, especially for the price. The ants weren't an issue since we didn't leave food or drinks out.

It is a small but very cozy hostel, and overall it was a great experience. The place was clean and welcoming, and the internet connection was impressively fast. I especially appreciated having two power outlets and a personal lamp by the bed — very convenient and thoughtful. The only downsides were the mattress, which was sagging in one spot and not very comfortable, and the curtain-closing system around the beds, which didn’t feel like the best solution, it was real pain. Despite these minor issues, the hostel was charming, comfortable, and definitely worth recommending.

We love our experience in Kaen Hostel. The room is clean and I love the aesthetic of it. The only down side is that we were on the top floor and its elevator is for luggage only. So we were so tired from our tours and from going up & down the stairs too. But i would recommend this hostel and would come back of given a chance.

We checked in together. There are ants in the room, there are a lot of them and they bite. The girl tried to remove them from the bed with a broom from a palm tree, but they climbed again. We were afraid that they could get into the ear. The location is great, the embankment is nearby. But the ants spoil everything. I do not recommend it.
