"This hotel has a great location, with many restaurants and shops right outside. The owner is very friendly, and the hotel is very clean. The only downside was that I stayed on the fifth floor, where there was no elevator and no air conditioning (only ceiling fans). Overall, I was satisfied with the price and the privacy of the room. I would choose to stay at this hotel again next time."

Staying here makes getting around very convenient, and you also get free access to the sauna, which you can use anytime you want on the upper floor 👌 The staff are all very enthusiastic! And the hygiene is exceptionally well-maintained, which is very important! 10/10 (or rather 1/0 🌝) recommend! Clean, easy to get around and free use of the sauna! "I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I couldn't be more impressed. Originally planned for 1 night but extended 1 more. The location is absolutely unbeatable—right in the heart of the city, with easy access to top attractions, restaurants, and public transport. Whether you're here for business or leisure, you’ll find everything you need just steps away. What truly made my stay memorable, though, was the staff. It's clear that guest satisfaction is a top priority here. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and outstanding service!"

GGuest UserThe best hotel for you to stay in Bangkok; it was our first time in the city and the staff were accommodating to us. Our room was really spectacular, views all over Phra Nakhon and most of the spots that we visited were just a few minute drive from our hotel. I really recommend this place for anyone who's traveling to see the sights and beauty of Thailand and its people. With budget in mind, they really exceeded our expectations. We will see you again soon khap! ขอบคุณครับ! 🤍✨ ขอบคุณครับ!

MM859831****The hotel's location is a bit out of the way, but the owner was incredibly kind, letting me check in as early as 10 AM. The housekeeping staff were very polite. The deposit was 200 Baht, and the Wi-Fi was super fast.

CChris33668Perfect stay at this Hostel. I stayed in a private double room which was very spacious and clean. The price of 900THB per night is completely fair and valid. The staff made it easy to extend my stay here and were always very helpful. They also have great amenities like laundry and a kitchen. One thing on the downside is that the doors are not sound proof at all and you can here if your neighbor closes their door. Thanks for having me, i'll come back soon!

GGuest UserStaffs are amazing and helpful. They helped us with good recommendations for any restaurant, destination, or service. The room is neat and clean. We visited in one of the hottest months but the air conditioner makes the stay comfortable. The location is the best, basically the Poshtel is surrounded by with many attractions and it takes 10-20min walking to many popular streets for foods and bars.

AAnonymous UserDuring my recent stay at Collection O The Spades Hostel, I was pleasantly surprised by how well this property combined comfort, affordability, and a vibrant social atmosphere. It’s a great option for both solo travelers and small groups looking for a cozy place to stay without sacrificing convenience or cleanliness. The first thing that caught my attention upon arrival was the warm and helpful staff. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, taking only a few minutes. The receptionist greeted me with a friendly smile and quickly provided all the necessary information about the facilities, Wi-Fi password, and nearby attractions. Their professionalism and hospitality immediately made me feel welcome. The hostel itself has a modern yet homey design. The interiors are simple but stylish, with clean lines and well-thought-out details. My room was surprisingly spacious for a hostel, featuring a comfortable bed, air conditioning, and a spotless private bathroom. The linens were clean and smelled fresh, and I appreciated that housekeeping maintained the room daily. The Wi-Fi connection was stable and fast, making it easy for me to work remotely and stream movies in the evening. One of the highlights of The Spades Hostel is its common area. It’s a cozy space where travelers can relax, socialize, or catch up on some reading. The shared lounge has comfortable sofas, soft lighting, and a few board games available for guests. I met travelers from different countries there, and we ended up sharing travel tips and stories well into the night. It truly felt like a friendly community rather than just a place to sleep. In terms of location, Collection O The Spades Hostel is perfectly situated. It’s close to public transportation, cafes, convenience stores, and several local attractions. Whether I wanted to grab a quick bite, go shopping, or explore the city, everything was within walking distance. Despite being near the main road, the hostel remained quiet at night, allowing me to get a good night’s sleep. The hostel also offers a few extra amenities that add great value for money. There’s laundry service available for guests, 24-hour front desk support, and luggage storage for those who need to check out but still want to explore the city before leaving. I also appreciated that they take security seriously—access to rooms is controlled, and the staff is always present at the reception area. If I had to mention one minor downside, it would be that the breakfast selection was limited. However, the quality of what they offered—fresh coffee, toast, and fruit—was good enough to start the day. Overall, my stay at Collection O The Spades Hostel was an excellent experience. It strikes a perfect balance between affordability, comfort, and a welcoming atmosphere. I would highly recommend this hostel to travelers looking for a clean, well-managed, and centrally located accommodation. Whether you’re backpacking through the city or staying for business, this place offers everything you need for a pleasant and memorable stay.

BBoonyapondOverall Experience: This hotel is a decent option, especially if you want to escape the city's hustle and bustle. The rooftop room I booked was incredibly spacious and cozy, perfect for a relaxing night even when it rained. The location is a bit tricky, with no parking and a narrow alleyway leading to the entrance, but it's worth it for the peace and quiet. The highlight was definitely the rooftop room. It felt so open and comfortable. However, the open-air bathroom might not be for everyone, especially if you're shy. For me, it was completely fine. Just be aware there’s no elevator, and if you’re on the 6th floor like I was, be ready for a bit of a climb! Bringing snacks and drinks up with you is a good idea to avoid going up and down too often. The view from the top floor room was absolutely amazing. It was a great reward after the climb. haha! P.s..I’d recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a unique and quiet experience and doesn't mind a bit of a workout to get to their room. The view and the rooftop room are fantastic. :)

JJohnlijangThe Chatbox Silom Hostel is a cozy, budget-friendly accommodation located in the heart of Bangkok’s vibrant Silom area. Its location is one of its strongest assets — tucked between Silom Road and Surawong Road, it offers easy access to BTS Chong Nonsi (just a 5-minute walk), Sala Daeng, and the MRT. This makes it very convenient for exploring Bangkok’s business districts, nightlife, and key tourist areas. The hostel itself is clean and well-maintained. According to guests, the rooms and common areas are tidy, and the beds offer a comfortable rest. The shared bathrooms are modest but functional, and free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, making it practical for both leisure travelers and backpackers. One of the highlights is the rooftop terrace, which adds character to the hostel and provides a relaxing spot to hang out or unwind after a long day of sightseeing. The shared lounge has a welcoming vibe, and there’s a small kitchen area for guests who prefer to prepare simple meals. Staff receive praise for their helpfulness and friendliness, with many guests noting they go out of their way to assist with bookings and local tips. That said, some travelers mention that there are times when no one is at reception, which can be inconvenient. In terms of value, The Chatbox Silom Hostel is especially attractive. According to booking sites, rooms and dorm beds are very reasonably priced. However, a few negative comments have surfaced: some guests report weak reception staff, occasional cleanliness issues (especially in bathrooms), or overbooking problems. Overall, The Chatbox Silom Hostel is a solid choice for solo travelers or budget-conscious backpackers who want a safe, well-located, and relatively quiet place to stay in Silom. While it’s not a luxury hostel, it provides all the essentials at a fair price and delivers a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

GGuest UserI stayed here for one night and absolutely loved the vibe. The hostel is super cute, and the owner is incredibly kind—always smiling and even offered me free water, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Everyone here seemed happy and friendly, and the atmosphere felt very welcoming. I honestly didn’t want to leave, but I already had another place booked for New Year’s. I paid almost three times the usual price for a king-size room due to the New Year rush, but it was totally worth it. The room was comfortable, and the location is extremely convenient, making everything easy to access. Would 100% stay here again. Highly recommended! 😊

JJohnlijangI recently stayed at Ploy Hostel and had a surprisingly pleasant experience that exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcomed with their warm and friendly attitude. Check-in was fast and straightforward, and they were always willing to help with directions, recommendations, or any small requests during my stay. The hostel itself is clean, modern, and well-maintained. The common areas are thoughtfully designed, offering comfortable spaces to relax, work, or socialize with other travelers. I especially appreciated the cozy atmosphere — it feels safe, organized, and very home-like. The lighting, decor, and layout create a peaceful environment, which is perfect after a long day exploring the city. The rooms are simple but functional. The beds are comfortable, each with privacy curtains, individual lights, and charging outlets. I liked that the rooms were kept cool and quiet at night, and the lockers provided were spacious enough for my belongings. The shared bathrooms were consistently clean throughout my stay, with good water pressure and hot showers, which is always a big plus for a budget hostel. Location-wise, Ploy Hostel is very convenient. It’s close to public transportation, local restaurants, convenience stores, and several attractions. Getting around the city was incredibly easy, and I felt safe walking in the area both day and night. Overall, Ploy Hostel offers great value for money. It’s a comfortable, affordable, and reliable place to stay for solo travelers, backpackers, or anyone looking for a friendly and relaxing environment. The staff’s kindness, the clean facilities, and the convenient location all made my stay enjoyable. I would definitely consider staying here again and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
