Phuket Hostels

"This was my return visit to this hostel, and I must say I was dissppointed. Last time, on another platform, I gave it an 8/10 rating, but now I think I was too generous. Besides smiling, but not good English-speaking staff (and smile doesnt always solve problems like an informed action), and affordable price, it was hard to find all those benefits I thought this hostel had. Hot water dispenser wasnt working, but even cold drinking water wasnt accessible - i had to ask the staff 3 times for somebody to refill the machine. But the next morning empty again - there should be a system in place and not counting on guests for chasing down staff to fix it whenever the water tank is empty. I say chasing as there is rarely someone at the reception. They might be cleaning the rooms (good luck in finding them), but frankly rooms werent that clean. Floors were praying for mopping, dust in the bathroom fan wanted to leave too... there was even a clearly visible stain on my bed sheet upon checking in, but the staff replaced the sheet immediately (they could have spotted it when they were making the bed the first time maybe? Locker was not working, so the member of the staff had to use knife to make it work. The other storage place was also full of some crumble, i assume it is not on the cleaning list too often. AC in the room didnt seem to work properly. There was always a feeling of the temperature being too cold, whether the tehermostat was fixed at 18 or 25 degrees Celsius, you were freezing even undet the blanket. Privacy curtains are still transparent (?), and the doors of the room close loudly. Shower was more of a drizzle - the water pressure did not meet basic requirements. In the first shower, it wasnt even warm. I entered the second one, where the heater was working better, but you could not shower with water practically just dripping on you. All in all, there are other similarly priced hostels in Phuket that offer a better service."

"I had a fantastic experience during my stay. The customer service was outstanding—staff were extremely helpful and attentive. The rooms were clean, with well-maintained beds and spotless washrooms. "Although the price was very low, it was a clean and comfortable hotel. The air conditioner remote control in the room I stayed in was broken and I couldn't change the temperature or turn it off. The temperature was originally set low, so the room was very cold and I had to wear lots of jackets. The person at the front desk said I would call a technician right away, but that was a lie. The technician never came. Also, it was very disappointing that the drain in the bathroom was clogged and the water in the shower only flowed slowly, causing the bathroom to flood. Other than the problems with the air conditioner and bathroom, and the lack of an elevator, the facilities are very good. I had a comfortable stay. It's close to the bus stop for the airport, so it's recommended for a stay before returning home."

"Not the first line, but the location of the hotel is convenient. Regular buses of the island go past the hotel. Nearby are Sevan Ilevan shops and the Lemongrass Haus brand shop with cosmetics for spa salons, where you can buy massage oil, after-sun cream, aroma diffuser made of natural ingredients. In the hotel itself you can eat inexpensively and tasty. On each floor there is a cooler with cold and hot water. On the first floor there is a microwave. From 07:00 to 10:30 free tea with sugar and cookies. The room itself is cozy, the split system works. There is an iron on each floor."

"Thank you so much for your accomodation, Ali! I had an amazing time meeting travelers from around the world. Patong Beach is about 5 minutes away by walking, with many stores, fruit stalls, and restaurants along the way. I would recommend to stay at Sundiva for 2-3 days to get to know more about Phuket."

"I arrived earlier than my check-in time and they were kind enough to let me do an early check-in. I'm glad they gave me a room on the ground floor which made it more convenient for me. The room is clean, decent and comfortable enough. It's close to two 7-Eleven stores and a 15 to 20-minute walk from Bangla and Jungceylon mall. Overall, it was a great stay."

"Even I arrived very late, I can easy to find the hostel by spending only few minutes on foot from the airport. Room is clean and they provide breakfast. Convenience store is just next to the hostel. A perfect place for a short stay close to the airport"

"It was an amazing experience to stay in Benetti house. Location is near patong beach and also airport bus station. Service is so good. Room is cleaner than I expected. Thanks to the hotel."

" It’s a chill hostel but clean with adult vibes. Thankfully we didn’t see or hear any children which was a huge plus. We did stay in the suite room. Note the tub is on the balcony outside but it was private enough for me. No toothbrushes are provided but there is a convenience store in the same parking lot and lots of food options nearby as well as the Sunday Old Phuket Market. We’d stay again. Pool open until midnight. Excellent location for Old Phuket Town."
