Such wonderful staff. From Jimmy at the front door to Denise 2.0 at the desk. Amazing first impression. Will absolutely come back k and recommend.

Great time, learned to fish.. Front Desk was amazing. Rooms were nice.. And the drinks were spot on.. looking forward to coming back next month.

Had a great weekend stay at The Ellie! Our family had an amazing time! The oceanfront view was wonderful and the pool deck was so fun! All of us enjoyed the pool slides, pool DJ and the pool foam party! Being able to walk right onto the beach was so convenient. Carrie at the Front Desk and Jeff at the Lobby Bar were so friendly and answered all of our questions. Our room on the 4th floor had a great view and the two king beds in the room gave everyone lots of space. The room was also spotless and super clean. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We hope to be back soon. The only heads up is this an exterior hallway type property, but it has recently been renovated and looks brand-new with a cute retro-vibe decor. We loved it!

Wow, i’ve never had a situation where I literally wanted to tell Hilton to immediately divest of a property. What a way to ruin your brand. I should’ve read the reviews before we booked this place. When we arrived, apparently they were doing a photo shoot for some ad. This meant that there was only one person who could check us in. Which meant we had to wait. And of course, the wait took 15 minutes. As a Hilton honors member, I should never have to wait 15 minutes to check in when there was only one person in front of me. Not only that, we were told our room was ready. When we got there, beds were not made, and the kitchenette was still full of garbage. But wait, there’s more. Then we headed down to get something to eat for lunch. We selected the only low table that was still remaining because we had our daughter with us. When we went to sit, we were told we could not sit there because it was in the view of the next photo shoot. At that point, I was not going to get up. We should not have to inconvenience ourselves once, if not, two times, because of a photo shoot. But wait, there’s more. We ordered our food, and it did not come. After 40 minutes, yes, 40 minutes, we asked the bartender for an update. Apparently the order had not been properly placed. So, the sous chef “personally” made our meal… but got it wrong. They brought my husband a pizza when he had ordered ahi tuna tacos. And they brought me grilled shrimp instead of peel and eat shrimp (thankfully, the grilled shrimp was good). I will say that they comped our meal and with everything else, they gave us a credit on our bill towards food for the week. But it really didn’t get all that much better. The pool was constantly out of towels and we would see families walking from one end of the resort to the other trying to find some. Further, they shut down the pool area every time there is lightning within 10 miles and they shut it down for 30 minutes. I understand bad weather, but this resort is designed so that when the bad weather comes in, the pool areas are locked off. This makes it very difficult to get from point A to point B. And you can never get somewhere without getting your feet dirty unless you decide to walk in the parking garage. That’s just not what I associate with a beach resort. Food was meh, at best. Service was slow. The room was okay, but there was an apparent design flaw because if you wanted the bedroom door open and the bathroom door open, you had to turn slightly sideways to get out of the bathroom. Speaking of bathrooms, there are no bathrooms on the ground level by the pools. You have to go up a level (not convenient when you have kids). Plus, the men’s bathroom closest to the Ellie pool had disgusting urinals and one of the toilets seats was not bolted down… gross. Would never book here again. Hilton, you can do so much better.
