plus air conditioning which was great in the heat. Beds are comfortable and had a great night's sleep. This was our second visit and a little disappointed with the menu but that was personal choice. Room - bedding spotless and shower and bath clean. However there were some areas where they need to clean ie the radiator. Running a fingers over the yowel rail was thick with dust and the blinds needed a clean. There were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling in the corners and over the bed. Staff - day time staff were pleasant enough when serving but were not very friendly or welcoming. A smile goes a long way! The lady serving breakfast, however, was lovely and very friendly.

My wife and I have just had a wonderful 4 night stay at this village hotel. The accommodation comprises new build bungalows behind the actual hotel building all at ground floor level, absolutely brilliant for us with walking difficulties, no steps to climb! and the bedrooms are modern and clean with all the facilities you need. The rear garden is well kept and some rooms have French windows opening out onto the garden. The actual hotel building itself is much much older with rustic and rural charm and the obligatory roof beams, there is a lounge bar where you have breakfast which was very good and plentiful, and a restaurant room for evening meals. The location of the hotel is ideally situated for exploring the county of Norfolk and comes highly recommended by my wife and I. The staff were very friendly, accommodating and polite, what more can you ask of a hotel, we would certainly return to this accommodation, well worth a visit. Thank you to all who made our stay so enjoyable.
