Hotels in Mong Kok, Hong Kong

The hotel is located in the very central and center of the city and the hotel upgraded my room to one of their signature rooms on the high floor with a very good view. The amenities were very good and allow me for late checkout as well. The only thing is that check-in is quite slow, but the lady was quite courteous so that was fine. Just a simple check in hotel

We had a fantastic stay at Royal Plaza Hotel! The room was incredibly spacious, which is a rare find in Hong Kong. The wide bathtub was perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day out. Everything was clean and well-maintained, giving us a very comfortable experience. The hotel’s location is super convenient—direct access to the MTR makes getting around the city a breeze. It’s connected to a shopping mall, which made dining and shopping very easy, and there’s even a playground that was great for the kids. We also loved how close the hotel is to the night market and several other malls in the area—plenty to explore within walking distance! Highly recommend this hotel for families, couples, or anyone who wants comfort and convenience in the heart of Hong Kong.

I stayed here for five days during a family trip to Hongkong recently. The room and toilet is spacious with good amenities. Although there were many electrical sockets, a few are damaged and thus unusable. The bed was very comfortable and the environment was quiet so I managed to sleep peacefully every night. I loved that my family were given connecting rooms so we could interact with each other easily. The staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful every morning when we saw them. Had to wait for the couple of small lifts during peak hours but that can’t be helped. The hotel location was conveniently near to bustops, MTR stations and a Wellcome mart. The only major issue I had with my stay was the spotty WiFi. The signal was good when I first checked in but by the second day, the network slowed to a crawl at times and I had to give up doing my work remotely.

Booked total of 3 rooms, manage to get early check in for one room however when I head down to the front desk at 3:30pm for my other two rooms there was at least 3 people in the line. There was two staff member and I was standing behind the mother and daughter who took a while to complete their check in. While I was waiting , there was this lady that appeared and started cutting into where I was waiting , right after the mother and daughter left the lady step up and the front desk staff served the lady even when I said I was standing there first and been waiting . The lady started talking loudly that I cut her lane and was there first . The front desk guy name Anthony didn’t handle the situation well, when I said I was here first , he told me he can serve both of us and replied me very rudely that he can go check cctv to see who’s telling the truth. As a Hilton honours diamond member who often stays in the Hilton group, this service level was really unacceptable, the lady was rude and loud and the staff actually served her cos she’s loud and spoke as if I was the one at fault. Room is relatively small and location is 10 mins walk to Langham place . I think there are better hotel options.

The place was clean (hotel, room). Breakfast was very nice and delicious. Would suggest maybe a different variety every other day. It cost 100HKD per pax which was not bad. Pool was closed. Understandably , the season was also cold for outdoor swimming. The gym was really nice as my father described. Overall, my family and I had a good stay and good rest in this hotel. Highly recommend to other travellers.

The Mongkok Holiday Inn Express is a short walk down Dundas Street from the Yau Ma Tei metro -- f you have heavy suitcases, you are better off getting a taxi from the Kowloon Airport Express station. I moved here because the prices at the Golden Mile Holiday Inn were climbing through the roof over Christmas, and the Mongkok Holiday Inn was almost half the price. Very friendly and accommodating staff, who looked after my luggage through several comings and goings, saving me almost another £100 on storage fees. Breakfast is a choice from a set menu rather than a buffet, but it was nice enough. I'll definitely stay here again.... in fact, I will stay here again the day after tomorrow!

Nice clean spacious rooms compared to other sinilar hotels. Nice big queen bed but as others have commented quite hard but suited me fine. Has all the essentials. Only downpoint was the shower walls could do with a deep clean but would still stay again. Price very affordable in a fantastic location right outside MK mtr!

The hotel is located in the city center, lots of shopping stores and good varieties of food to choose from. Suitable for people who enjoy night life and short sleeping hours. The hotel is fine except lack of friendly smiles and free drinking water inside.

Well situated area in Mong Kok, 7-10 minutes walk from Ladies Market. Walking distance to 3 different MRT Stations and great options of convenient stores nearby. Only thing is they don’t tell you until you arrive that a deposit will be required during the stay to cover any damages etc. but overall a good stay.

I'd say it's one of the best choice for such price in Hong Kong (city center). Location is pretty convenient (close to the subway and bus stop), service is friendly and professional. But the facilities are not that modern, tidiness wasn't at the high level (some hair on the bed etc.)
