⭐ A Good Overall Stay
We had a pleasant stay at One Dundas.
The room was clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated their assistance with early luggage storage and early check-in. The whole process was smooth, and the service was great.
However, there were a few things that could be improved. The room did not have slippers or a “Do Not Disturb” card, which may have been missed or misplaced by the previous guest.
The biggest issue for us was the hot water during showering. We expected the water to remain warm throughout the shower, but halfway through, the water suddenly turned cold. We had to wait for around 3 minutes before the water became warm again. This happened during our stay and was quite frustrating and inconvenient.
As for the location, guests should be aware that it takes around 10 minutes of walking under the hot sun to reach the nearest MTR station. This is fine for those who don't mind walking, but it can be a little tiring in Hong Kong's hot weather, especially when carrying luggage.
Overall, the room was clean and the staff were friendly, and we still had a pleasant stay. However, the hot water issue was definitely the most annoying part of our experience, and we hope the hotel can look into it.
A decent choice if you don't mind the 10-minute walk to the MTR station, but hopefully the hot water issue can be resolved.
