The hotel was a bit hard to find. Amazing location. It was clean. The bed and pillow were incredibly hard, though.

1 minute's walking distance from Tsim Sha Tsui MTR. Room conditions are acceptable on consideration of price and location.

Booked 2 rooms for 4days and 3nights. We asked if we could change the other room which only the same price and we are willing to pay additional charges if ever. The owner called her assistant and when she found that we are filipinos she denied our requests. SUCH A RACIST ACT. No hairdryer in our room, other room has it but not working. Out of the 2 rooms we booked, one room got cleaned during our stay and the other one they didnt.
Response from Property: Thank you for staying. Our kindness has turned into discrimination in your eyes. We are very sad. You booked 2 beds without windows, and we upgraded you to a room with windows for free. Do you think this is discrimination? We planned to change your garbage bags, but the other room was locked, so we could only change the garbage bags in one room. Is this discrimination? Why do we discriminate against Filipinos? We hire a Filipino sister to help us take care of our children and live with us. Is this also discrimination?

◆Good points
1. Separate toilet and shower was great for this price range in Hong Kong
The room itself is standard for this type of hostel, but it was great that they served me a room with a big window
2. Self check-in/check-out, so no deposit required, which was hassle-free and nice
3. The conversion plug was fixed with glue, but it was properly attached
◆Not so good points
1. Hair dryers were not loaned out, but had to be used in a specific small shared space (with security cameras)... (I have a psychological resistance to women leaving their rooms in their loungewear to use them at night and in the morning)
If they had said that they didn't have one from the beginning, I would have brought one with me...
2. The hot water in the shower in the room was out of order due to a machine malfunction, and it was the last night, so I didn't mind, but , and there was no request to change rooms...I wonder what they would have done if it had been mid-day.
3. I stayed for 3 nights, but the room was not cleaned, the trash was not collected, and the towels were not changed (there was only one trash can, so it would have been nice if there was another one).
4. The hangers in the room are soft plastic, so if you have something to hang, it's better to bring your own.
◆Things I noticed
1. The LINE ID for contact on the sign on the door at check-in cannot be read with the LINE app, but if you read it with Google Lens, it will recognize the URL to add friends.
I set up WeChat in advance, and both check-in and check-out were smooth.
**********
Meilidu itself has better security and access to the rooms than Chongqing, so I think it will be an option in the future.

I didn't have high hopes at first, but I found it good after arriving. The boss was also very attentive and explained every step very clearly. He shared with me the check-in spots and various delicacies as soon as I checked in. The service attitude was great. He waited for us even though we checked in very late. The location of the hotel is also very good, very close to the subway station, and convenient transportation. The emotional value given by the boss is also very good. It is worth a visit. I will stay here again next time I come to Hong Kong. 😝

This is not a hotel, these are rooms in a residential complex. The location is very convenient! Right next to the metro and 10 minutes walk from the Avenue of Stars.
Check-in is done remotely, and this is convenient, especially if you inform in advance that you are on your way to the hotel. I communicated via What’sApp, they gave me all the instructions with photos, there were no problems. At first, the owner told me one room number, but it turned out he was mistaken and my room was different. I do not consider this a minus. The room is large (by Asian standards, and especially Hong Kong.

I thought it was great to be able to stay at a hotel of this level for this price in Hong Kong, where hotel prices are high. It was easy to get to, there was no strange smell, and the room was reasonably clean, so I was able to stay comfortably.
The only negative point is that the check-in process is difficult. You need to contact the owner via WeChat or LINE, but LINE did not work. I'm glad I downloaded WeChat in advance. The owner was kind enough to chat to me about recommended restaurants and other things.
I'd like to stay here again if I visit Hong Kong.

➕ The location is excellent. It couldn't be any more convenient. I'm grateful that it was so cheap. I had written down how to check in, so I managed to do it on LINE with the help of a translator.
➖ There were almost no novelties. There was almost nothing, including a refrigerator. The hair dryer was also shared. But it was cheap, so I guess that can't be helped. I would have liked to know that you could enter from outside with a card key.
I would recommend this to people who want to have fun in Hong Kong on their own and on a budget.

The main reason I chose this hotel was because there was a glass door between the restroom and the shower room, so I could use the toilet without getting the toilet seat flooded.
I pressed the hot water button about 10 minutes before using the shower, and the hot water came out well and the water pressure was strong enough.
Checking in is a bit tricky, and you exchange messages with the owner in English via Line or Wechat.
Therefore, at the time of check-in, you need to have a signal environment with eSIM or mobile Wi-Fi. (There was a QR code for free Wi-Fi along with the QR code for adding friends on Line next to the door, but it didn't work well. Of course, the Wi-Fi in the room worked well after checking in.)
When you do this, you will need to send an image of the photo page of your passport, so I recommend taking a photo of your passport in advance.
I was a little worried because I hadn't heard anything for about 5 minutes after sending my first message, so I called Line, and received a message saying wait, and they responded immediately after.
The air conditioner looked quite new, the room was clean, the bed was spacious, towels, foot mats and bath towels (thin but large) were provided, toilet paper, shampoo and body soap were also provided.
The futon was a little thin, but the air conditioner was able to adjust the temperature to the appropriate level, so it was not a problem at all.
Unlike Chungking Mansions, the elevator came in less than a minute, and I was able to reach the 8th floor in no time.
I usually don't write long reviews, but I was worried before my stay because the location and facilities were very good for the price despite the high cost of living in Hong Kong, and at first glance, there were some other reviews that made me want to avoid staying there, so I wrote a detailed review in the hope that I can dispel those concerns for those who stay there next time.
Oh, as a side note, there is a famous cookie shop on the second floor of the same building, and if you go around 9:55, you can buy cookies after waiting about 20 minutes! (The cookie shop in the last image)

Response from Property: Thank you for choosing us and staying with us. We often buy Japanese sweets, and they are so delicious that we buy a lot every time. Thank you for liking our Hong Kong cookies as well.
