The room was beautiful, with a bathtub, a tea table with a set and a screen and videoprojector. It is very well located, in a trendy neighborhood and not too far from the metro. Great experience as a foreigner overall!"

"On arrival the room I was provided with had a very strong smell of smoke. I couldn’t get used to the smell so I asked the lady at reception if there were any other alternative rooms and she very quickly let me move to another room which was much better so I really appreciated this. The cleanliness of the room could have been better but overall I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel, the view was fantastic."

"In general a nice and tidy place. But unfortunately I had bad luck and got a room with only a tiny window (I usually avoid non windows rooms) and I didn’t bother changing it late at night while checking in. But because of the lack of proper ventilation that particular room unfortunately did not have good air. Either there is hidden mold or it was the sink canalisation - but anyways there was a bad small and I woke up with headache and sore throat because of it. Needless to say an unpleasant experience and so I changed to another hotel since there are even better located hotels with similar design and standard around in this area. Also the price increased the following days and suddenly wouldn’t let me book with my pre-bought voucher anymore and seems staff wasn’t prepared to help with that, other than they offered I could switch to a higher floor and with proper window. The location of the hotel is fine but a bit more walking to the hot spots than from other hotels, which personally I don’t mind that much. Generally the design and materials used are of high quality but that alone or the breakfast included both were not a reason to stay for me. Meanwhile beware the elwctric plugs are China standards only. Seems an issue in non tier 1 cities but I was able to get a converter at the reception!"

"The service was very good. They even sent slippers for the children and a suitable bathtub cover. The room was clean and tidy. Downstairs was Pozi Street and Taiping Street. It was a 10-minute walk to IFC. The location was very good. The only thing was the parking fee of 35, which I paid for myself. It was 100 before the discount. I suggest that the business include the parking fee in the room rate in the future."

"Pros: Excellent location, just a three- or four-minute walk from the subway exit. Nearby are IFC, Taiping Old Street, Chaozong Street, and Orange Island, just two stops away. The room was also very clean.
Cons: The B&B is on the upper floors, and next to the rooms are a nail salon, hair salon, and other amenities, making it quite chaotic. The soundproofing is extremely poor; even if someone talks at the door, it feels like it's open, and even the noise from the neighbors is clearly audible, making it incredibly awkward and noisy! Although it only opened 25 years ago, the rooms look quite old.
Overall: For just over 200 yuan, the amenities are well worth the price. Not recommended for those with more discerning tastes and ample budget."

"The journey from the train station is abit complicated as there are many turns but it will not bother you because the host will send the instructions on how to go from the train station. The host is extremely helpful and extremely responsive. Some places, only the picture looks nice. But for this, you are in for a pleasant surprise. Our stay was tooo short! Geographical location: The location is amazing. It is near the May Day Square. You can start eating and shopping by walking downstairs for a few steps. The surrounding area is full of popular check-in spots in Changsha. It is very close to Pozi Street and Taiping Street.
Room environment: The room decoration is simple and stylish, the overall color matching is very comfortable, and the details are handled very well. The bed is moderately soft and hard, lying on it is very relaxing, and there are smart devices. The lights and curtains can be controlled by moving your mouth.
Service attitude: From the check-in at the front desk, the staff are enthusiastic and patient, the processing speed is fast, and they will carefully introduce the fun things around. During the stay, whether you want to add items or ask questions, you can respond quickly, which makes people feel super at ease. The room type is upgraded for free, and breakfast and supper can be delivered to the room. The travel photography provided by the hotel is very good, and you can also help with tea. When leaving, they also sent snacks. The ladies helped to take the luggage to the car all the way, which is very considerate!
I have been to many places and stayed in many good hotels, and the service at Yijian is really the most considerate I have ever experienced!

XXunnyDAs someone from the U.S. who wanted to explore more about Chinese culture, this hotel felt like staying in a museum. You can see the history as you walk around from the architecture to the decor. As someone who’s not very good at speaking Chinese, the staff was very kind and accommodating, especially when using WeChat to to communicate my requests. I traveled with my girlfriend and the room we stayed in was spotless and super comfortable. The amenities provided in our room went above and beyond, making our stay feel more luxurious. I will say the free laundry service came as a surprise to me and is a huge plus with staying here. I’ve stayed at St. Regis Changsha, and I can definitely say the stay here is very comparable in terms of comfort. If you’re looking for a hotel with history, charm, and a location that makes you feel like you’re authentically visiting Changsha, then this is the spot to go to. We will definitely be coming back here in the future!!!

We arrived early and she helped us store our luggage, arranged the room and sent me a message. GGuest UserEnvironment: The hotel is located in a quiet downtown area. It is a stand-alone hotel. It is unique and quiet in the bustling city. It is very convenient to get around. The decoration design is very novel and a bit bohemian. It also looks like the totem of the Huashan cliff murals in Guangxi, which is very eye-catching.
Service: The hotel housekeepers are all young people with good looks and temperament. The service is very energetic and friendly. There were a few nights when they came back very late and woke up the beautiful women sleeping on the first floor. I felt a little sorry.
Hygiene: There is a strong scent of gardenia both in the lobby and indoors. I couldn't get used to it at first, but after living there for three days, I found it very nice haha. The indoor lighting is a little dim, but the separation of dry and wet areas is well done, which is still good.
Facilities: There is a bathing pool on the top floor, which looks nice. The hotel also set up a few scenes for everyone to pose for photos, which is very thoughtful. It is recommended to change the shampoo and hair care products in the shower to squeeze type. When taking a shower, you can't twist it open with your hands wet. This is just a small suggestion.
Overall, I am very satisfied and will stay here again next time I go to Changsha!

JJuvieJEntrance and lift to the right tower was a little hard to find initially, especially for us who don't understand much Chinese and lift change to a different tower is required. Written instruction would've been useful.
Room is ok, very low ceiling, nearly touched our head. Very cramped and not as spacious and nice as in photo.
Lots of marks and scratches on the floor. Shower area is not clean, hair from previous stay still there.
Our washing machine was broken. It couldn't be fixed in the 3 nights we stayed. The technician came on the second day and the floor was left dirty. We were offered to use the washing machine in a different unit, but with no dryer, it made it difficult.
The electricity went out on our first morning and there was no power for about 3-4 hours. Then the evacuation building evacuation notice came on, twice that morning. We evacuated as that's the norm in our country. We're later told it's just a testing. It would've been nice if we were informed or there's some kind of communication on the floor. Very disruptive as we have young children. The evacuation drill happened again the next morning. We knew then to stay.
The best thing about this apartment is the location. Close to all the hustle and bustle is Changsha, lots of eateries choices. On the negative side, we could hear thumping music and felt the vibration from nearby clubs until 3-4 in the morning.

AAnonymous UserThis is the second time we stayed here After came back from Zhangjiajie . They provided free luggage storage and they have some room type . At that time we have chosen the only left room which was triple bed room. When we arrived , the reception gave us the room downstairs which was in 15th floor. . We felt so dissatisfied since we look for room on the same level as last room we stayed on level 17 . She said , they need some time to clean it up since no clean room available at that time (it was check in time actually). We didn’t like 15th floor room since the alley was so dark and spooky. We insisted to stay on 17th floor room since the hotel lobby and reception were at 17th floor . Afterwards We went for lunch and when we came back the room on 17th floor was ready for us . It was very spacious, with nice view to the city. Unfortunately the window glass was dirty so it wasn’t too visible to look outside . Their amenities were complete, their bed were cozy, only they didn’t have big mirror . Watch out for the wooden floor. it was higher than the tile so I fell down at night when I wanted to go to the toilet. Overall the staying is quite satisfying
