This was one of the best RV experiences we've had. The attendant was prompt, helpful and courteous. We had an RV spot overlooking the bay. There is a bath/laundry house with private bathrooms and showers. We were walking distance to restaurants and shopping. On our way back from exploring took a video of a moose one block from our RV space. It was a wonderful trip. We highly recommend Driftwood Inn in Homer Alaska.

Homer, AK is one of my absolute favorite places to visit! This was our first time staying at the Driftwood Inn. The location is perfect. Right outside is Bakers Beach which is a favorite for beach combing and an ocean fix. I love the ocean. Close by is a wonderful bakery and specialty restaurants and art and shops. Location is perfect. The Spit is a short drive as well as the Pratt Museum. We stayed in the Carriage House which is a newer part of the Inn. It was spacious, very comfortable, very clean and had a small fridge and coffee machine. There’s heat as well as air conditioning if you need it. The beds were super comfy too. Driftwood Inn will be my go to from now on whenever I visit Homer.

Traveling with a little Cavalier & the Driftwood Inn was very accommodating where other lodgings refused to take us. Very old & original Homer facility with a fine Alaskan ambiance. Quite friendly & flexible staff. Clean & tidy room that was very small but well thought out with bed, sink & shower with toilet in a separate room. Warm & the ocean is right out the door.

From the moment I saw the clerk, I felt welcomed. I was given the opportunity to see the rooms that were vacant. I chose one room. That night was a very good night, quiet and peaceful, with information about where to go eat. Also the opportunity for getting a charter for fishing. Wow! I like very much. The clerks were so helpful. Because everything was so nice, I cannot imagine forgetting about it,

I loved the location. Walking distance to places that were actually open this late in the season. The unobstructed view of the ocean and resident Eagles topped it off. Big private shower rooms with plenty of hot water. Other RV’s coming on site were placed very far away so as to not obstruct my view and visa versa. It’s a slow time at the end of the season and this was the perfect spot. Very quaint atmosphere. I may have to come back to stay in one of the rooms. The fireplace was beautiful. The people were very helpful when I asked for directions and recommendations . The rv pad was perfectly level. The price for full hook ups can’t be beat. This may be my annual pilgrimage at the end of the season.

Our stay at the Driftwood Inn RV Park was absolutely fantastic! The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. They even checked in with us several times and offered great recommendations for things to do in the area, which was especially helpful since we visited during the off-season. The facilities were spotless and exactly as described. Best of all, the views of Kachemak Bay and the Homer Spit from our campsite were simply breathtaking. When we come back to Homer, this will definitely be our go-to spot. If you’re still deciding where to stay, stop looking and book here, you won’t be disappointed!

We stayed in their small rv park. It was just about empty and we were across the street from the ocean and bishops beach. I would definitely look into their rooms if I go back. The steak house and saloon across the street were an added plus. After 50 years in Alaska we finally had a steak comparable to Club Paris in anchorage and the old channel club in Sitka. The food, atmosphere and service was excellent. So nice to be greeted warmly and given a table with no reservations. Wonderful neighborhood.

We always Well have a cozy stay at the driftwood inn. We love it! It’s located in walking distance to two great places for dinner and two great places for breakfast. The beach is across the street and it stretches for miles in both directions. The beds are surprisingly comfy and I had the best sleep I had had in a long time.
