Holualoa Inn

When my wife and I came home from staying at the Holualoa Inn, our spirits felt lighter. The peacefulness of the Inn and grounds are unsurpassed in my experience. The morning coffee bar was delightful, and the breakfasts in the common room were delicious with fun variety. All the staff were genuinely pleasant and ready with smiles and helping hands. The view of the island, falling away from the Inn to the ocean, was mesmerizing. I could not recommend a place of lodging more than this!

My stay here at Holualoa Inn is probably my favorite stay in all the times I’ve visited Hawaii. This 30 acre coffee estate is one of the prettiest places I’ve ever stayed in. Beautiful property to walk around, elegantly furnished and decorated, amazing daily breakfasts and afternoon baked good for guests. I honestly can’t think of one bad thing to say about this place, other than my stay was just too short. I will likely stay here every time I’m on the big island. It’s just so perfect and beautiful.

We absolutely LOVED the Holualoa Inn! The serenity of the property is second to none. The quality of the breakfast is off the charts, healthy and prepared with so much care. The cleanliness of the place is excellent, and the service delivered by your staff is best in class. We truly enjoyed the spiritual atmosphere and much appreciated the soul-searching trail in your garden. The proximity to Kona while being up in the hills offers the perfect balance of location and peacefulness. Thank you for sharing your slice of Heaven with us!

This is one of the best places we've ever stayed at. The Lodge is so peaceful and tranquil, with gorgeous lush grounds and stunning views. The staff are so so helpful, welcoming and friendly. The breakfasts were out of this world and very vegetarian friendly for us - fresh fruit from the Lodge followed by something else delicious like French toast, huevos rancheros, crepes. They also serve coffee from the farm. We brought our 8 month old and were provided with a pack n play (for a charge) and high chair. Coffee and tea is available throughout the day, and you're given a little home baked afternoon tea treat daily too! There is a kitchen with a fridge, blender, microwave, cutlery, glasses etc. There is a non heated pool, hot tub, plenty of sun loungers, and lots of comfy seating inside. The sunsets are out of this world. Nearby there is a cafe and kitchen/bar, and lots of art galleries and boutiques. You're a 15 minute drive from kona, 30 from the airport. The rooms were spacious and you're provided with filtered water daily. They will provide recommendations for itineraries too. We will treasure our memories here and hope to be back. Holualoa Inn is truly a slice of paradise. The views are simply breathtaking—overlooking the Kona coastline with stunning sunsets and lush, vibrant gardens all around. It’s the kind of place where you can just sit and soak in the beauty for hours. But what really made our stay special were the people. The staff were amazing—so kind, welcoming, and attentive. They made us feel completely at home and went above and beyond to ensure our experience was perfect. The inn itself is beautiful and peaceful, with lovely, well-appointed rooms and thoughtful touches everywhere. If you’re looking for a place to relax, recharge, and feel genuinely cared for, Holualoa Inn is the perfect choice. Can’t wait to return! Coming back next year;-)
