My partner and I booked 30 minutes before our arrival, lucky to get the last room available. On check in I was shown to our room, which was beautifully decorated and made up, lots of great choices of hot drinks and the shower gel and shampoo that was available were of a very high quality. The bed was very comfortable, and the room overall was very clean and we both loved the framed pictures on the wall. It gave a very sophisticated and calming feel which was very important to us. We had a pizza from the outside building which was staffed by a very polite and talented young man, probably the best pizza I’ve eaten and would highly recommend to buy one if you stay. The staff were all very kind, very friendly and made us feel so at ease and comfortable. The breakfast was included which was a really nice surprise, with table service even though we sat outside the other end of the garden. The food was cooked brilliantly (both had a full English) no grease and the sausages and bacon were excellent quality. Massive props to the kitchen team for making a fantastic meal. Overall, our stay albeit a short one was one of, if not the best stay in a pub or hotel we’ve had before. We will definitely be back to stay again in the future!

We stayed here for 2 nights as attending a wedding at Belcombe Court so was perfectly place to drive there. We stayed in the holiday cottage which was excellent with plenty of space and own outside area. Staff were very friendly and breakfast also good and tasty. Menu looked good for evening meal but we didn’t get chance to try. Only complaint would be size of bed was small and could do with a larger one.

Stayed here for two nights while visiting Bath. Loved the room (named "Jake") with its compact space and the layout between the room and the bathroom. You just can't get places that have character like this in the States. Ate dinner both nights in the restaurant which was very good. On both nights (weeknights) the restaurant was full. The venison pie was outstanding. Opting for something more healthy my wife and I chose the porridge with local honey the first morning and repeated the same on our second day breakfast because it is excellent. They have ample parking which was nice that we didn't have to worry about finding a spot on return when coming and going.

A very nice country pub in a great location for visiting local attractions in Bradford on Avon. Friendly welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We met friends and family for dinner and the food was good. We stayed in the annex which was clean and comfortable albeit the room was small and the single beds were quite narrow so need to check on booking if singles are required and sizes of doubles. Excellent clean bathroom with good big walk in shower. It was quite with little noise from traffic. We enjoyed our one night stay and would return if visiting area again

We stayed in the separate converted barn, as you walk through its little private courtyard garden and into the property you are greeted with a light airy and spacious property. The kitchen is well stocked and we’re comfortably able to make meals in the property. We did have a problem where the fridge broke down and both housekeeping and Brandon the manager were on the ball and got it sorted. We have a new born baby and they provided a lovely travel cot for us to use. The bathroom is a good size, with a powerful shower. One thing that would be good to add into the property is a coffee table of sorts in the lounge area. When your sitting and chilling (had to do a lot of that as the weather was so bad) we used a kitchen chair as a table in the lounge as it’s a little awkward putting the drinks and things on the floor, plus you worry about knocking it over onto the rug. It’s so minor though and only an ebi. We had both breakfast and dinner in the restaurant and both were delicious. The ingredients was fresh and good sized portions. They clearly put a lot of passion into the restaurant. It is such a lovely relaxing atmosphere with a nice fire. Special thank you to both Brandon and the housekeeper (sorry I didn’t get your name). You were both so tentative and welcoming, which really makes the stay. We will be back!
