A good night away to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We stayed in the honeymoon suite which was OK…nothing special if I was to be truly honest, but nice nonetheless.
We stayed on a Sunday night so we had the roast dinner which was excellent.
All in all a good stay and would recommend.

Rang to book a table, arrived, ordered drinks and we were seated at our table straight away. We chose the salmon and prawn dish and the pie, both were absolutely delicious in every way. The porter was nicer than Guinness (which I love). All the members of staff were excellent, easy to see why it was so busy! Don did comment on our arrival that we could enjoy a cozy stay with you so hopefully that might be on the cards! Having worked in the hospitality sector (still do) it was awesome to actually eat somewhere and not be thinking "I'd have done this by now/that couldve been better etc). THANKYOU X

We attended the Killer Rhapsody - Queen Tribute Event with an overnight stay - along with 4 of our friends - this was a brilliant night - beautiful food - great act and the overnight stay with the gorgeous breakfast finished this off perfectly

The huntsman is such a lovely place to stay. The restaurant is managed so well and the food is delicious. Will definitely stay again.

We held this event in the function room when we had 40 attendees. The menu was all pre ordered . The tables were set out nicely and a table plan had been completed by the Huntsman much better than ours. The build up process to the night was well conducted between both parties.. On the night we had background music on whilst arrival and eating. The food was good and well presented for a function type dinner and served in a friendly manner and acceptable time. Overall we were happy and all staff looked after us.
