A good night away to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We stayed in the honeymoon suite which was OK…nothing special if I was to be truly honest, but nice nonetheless.
We stayed on a Sunday night so we had the roast dinner which was excellent.
All in all a good stay and would recommend.

Rang to book a table, arrived, ordered drinks and we were seated at our table straight away. We chose the salmon and prawn dish and the pie, both were absolutely delicious in every way. The porter was nicer than Guinness (which I love). All the members of staff were excellent, easy to see why it was so busy! Don did comment on our arrival that we could enjoy a cozy stay with you so hopefully that might be on the cards! Having worked in the hospitality sector (still do) it was awesome to actually eat somewhere and not be thinking "I'd have done this by now/that couldve been better etc). THANKYOU X

I would highly recommend the Huntsman as a place to stay in Yorkshire. From the moment of arrival I was made to feel very welcome and all the staff were helpful and friendly. After a long journey from the south west I had a delicious meal and a very comfortable nights sleep. Check out time is10 am and as I was going to a wedding in the morning asked if I could extend check out to 12, no problems and noe tra charge. Go visit.

Wonderful place to stay! We stayed 2 nights, lovely comfy room with a fantastic view each morning, tea, coffee, biscuits and water in room, great for parking. The staff are so welcoming and polite, check in was easy and they have a great choice at the bar, really enjoyed trying the different beers on offer.the food was excellent we had 3 courses on our first night, mushrooms, pie- which was home made and absolutely delicious and then apple crumble with custard, the staff all around the inn are an absolute credit to this beautiful place which was also spotlessly clean. Highly recommended and look forward to staying again

Cosy and welcoming Stunning location we were to rear of property so no traffic noise at all. Breakfast excellent staff helpful and friendly. Would use again if staying in the area.
