Good location and facilities for relaxation and rest. Within reach of major towns and cities such as Scunthorpe, Hull, Grimsby and Lincoln.

Lovely hotel. Amazing health club, very clean. Nice big pool nice and warm. Location in the trees as per the name. Room could have done with a little renovation as starting to look tired. Had a hot chocolate in the bar friendly service. Did not have the breakfast but expect it would have been good. Went on motorbike would have been nice to have dedicated space closer to the hotel as was a bit worried as had to park further away to the entrance but not issues encountered so all was good.

Perfect in every way!!! Definitely will be back soon!!!

Decent sized rooms, fridge and water provided was a plus in the hot weather. Pity no air con and drinks were expensive. Stag were very helpful and pleasant.

I visited Forest Pines with family and friends to celebrate my friend's birthday, and overall, we had a great experience. The staff went above and beyond by surprising us with a cookie, a card, and balloons in the room, which was a really thoughtful touch. We arrived early and were allowed to use the pool while the hotel stored our luggage in the designated storage room. The staff were incredibly friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were clean and tidy, and a small complimentary mini bar was a nice extra. Breakfast was good, though the bacon was a bit dried out under the heat lamps—something that’s hard to avoid. The sauna by the pool is quite small, fitting about four people max, but it's still a nice addition. I didn't try the gym, but it overlooks the pool and looked decent. On the downside, the bar selection was quite limited and overpriced. A major issue was the taxi service recommended at the front desk—it charged us £25 for a 4-mile trip to Brigg, which felt excessive. I’d strongly advise avoiding that taxi firm. Despite these minor drawbacks, the thoughtful touches from the staff and the overall experience would definitely bring me back again.

Could so easily have been a 2* but two very good members of staff saved it. Equally it could have been a 4* stay had it not been for very poor course marshalling on our first day 7th Sept. Tee off time of just after 1pm with wait at every hole, it wasn't the group in front as they were held up by group in front of them. Finished first 9 in over 2 and 3/4 hours !! So raised slow play issue in pro shop before setting of on next 9 and once again, had to wait at every tee box. No sign of a Marshall. Over 5 1/2 hours to complete round...!! So it was then a rush to get check in and clean up for dinner. Bar and restaurant was rammed at 7:30pm and so the F&B manager was ran ragged with complaints. To be fair to him (Philip) he did a very good job at addressing the problems as best he could when approached. He had a professional, friendly and calm demeanour to defuse the angst around the room. I feel sure that some of the angst from my group had its roots in the frustration of the days golf experience. The 3 course evening meal was ok as was the accommodation. The next day started well with a good buffet breakfast and expectations of a better day. Which we did. Tee off at just after 10am and we completed the round in 4 1/2 hours. Comfortable pace with no waiting around. The course starter (Kevin) did a good job, patrolling the practice area and ensuring that every group was informed as to their tee time, reminded about slow play (obviously this fell on deaf ears to a few on the Sunday) and gave clear guidance about each course starting point. The three 9 hole courses were in reasonable condition. Like many they had suffered in the dry weather so all the fairways had bald and straggly patches. So having winter rule pick and place on fairways was fair and appropriate. A number in my party had buggies, all functional with no issues. Overal it was a good trip and would go again but course marshalling needs to be used when its obvious that the pace of play is very slow.
