"The hotel offers small guesthouse-style suites, one bedroom, one living room, and a kitchen. Surrounding it is a reed lake with swans and ducks, creating a natural and picturesque atmosphere. When we visited, the reeds were withered and yellow, and the scenery was a bit bleak, but it was still quite pleasant. The hotel doesn't have its own restaurant for dinner, but it does have a partner restaurant where you can reserve a table. The food is quite good. Prices are a bit high, but that's standard in Denmark."

"We assumed Hotel Lolland must have thought they were invaded by the family from hell, as we were 9 adults and one baby spread over 4 rooms. But they were fantastic in dealing with us and all our wishes! Kudos to the manager Frank and owner Baldvin, they went beyond our expectations with impeccable service. Will definitely be back when next in the area and strongly recommend the quirky, chilled and relaxing Hotel Lolland to anyone who requires a room in when visiting Maribo."
