Hotel Puerto Holbox Beach Front Reviews

The staff are kind, polite, & very accommodating. The hotel is well situated, and the beach is a bit quieter than the other nearby hotels that are more towards the town center. The grounds are lovely and well kept. Beds were not very comfortable, but for our budget, we felt confident that this was the best choice.

Breakfast - starts with tea/coffee, a flavoured water (e.g. hibiscus or tamarind depending on the day), toast with homemade fruit jam, fresh fruit and then your pick of a few options like rancheros, chilaquiles, pancakes and a vegetable crepe- all of which were very good. Room- comfortable bed, air con worked well, nice balcony with hammocks, safe in room, fridge and a hot shower. Hotel- beautiful gardens, comfortable loungers with umbrellas, hotel has pet cats and you can also see iguanas sun bathing in the gardens. At night there were racoons which were more cute than a nuisance. Service- really helpful staff, all very friendly, restaurant staff and reception spoke English. It was my partner's birthday and they put out flowers, balloons and decorations which was lovely. Downsides- the pool was a little cloudy- not sure how clean it was. Although there were loungers for hotel guests, the ones closest to the beach were only for if you paid for the restaurant (min spend 500mxn per person). Although this was explained at check-in, it would have been nice to be able to use these as a hotel guest without charge. Overall though would definitely stay here again!

Our room was perfect right on the edge of the beach, clean, and great staff! This hotel is quiet, but only a couple of blocks from the town. You can walk around the point, literally a couple of hundred feet, if you want some action, i.e. music, but return to a relaxing beach that this hotel offers. The bar/restaurant staff is who you come in contact with the most. Andrea and Luis are the best! Andrea can make a mean mojito, and Lazaro, the chef doesn't disappoint with his ceviche among other dishes.

We had an awesome stay with our family in this beautiful little hotel. It is far enough to have a quiet place to sleep and close enough to walk to the center with kids. It has everything you might need in your vacation! You want be sorry for choosing this one! We will be back for sure!

El hotel está bien ubicado. Es lindo y tiene habitaciones amplias. Tienen aire acondicionado, y están acondicionadas para una estadía cómoda. El servicio desde el momento de la reserva fue excepcional, tuve par de requerimientos con un mes de anticipación y realmente estuvieron a la altura. El desayuno inlcuído también fue buena opción, igual si deseas comer algo diferente a lo incluído, es posible con un costo extra. Regresaría sin dudar.

Petit resort calme et très mignon avec du personnel très sympathique, très serviable et très professionnel. Petit déjeuner inclus avec un choix à la carte pour tous les goûts. Chambres très propres et joliment décorées. Lit confortable. Douche avec pression et eau chaude. Wifi de qualité. Air climatisée silencieuse. Eau potable gratuite disponible tout le long du séjour. Site entretenu à la perfection avec chaises de plage espacées pour plus d’intimité. Végétation luxuriante. Belle piscine sous les cocotiers. Un petit paradis à 5 rues du centre avec tous les restaurants, kiosques, bar et animation. Il y a aussi le kiosque de massages sur la plage avec 3 professionnels. Pas d’arnaque là ! Bref pour un séjour parfait en amoureux, en famille ou entre amis comme nous. Je vais revenir et ce sera ici encore !!! Merci à tout le personnel de l’hôtel pour son excellent travail !

Increible experiencia, la atención desde la llegada al hotel, todo el personal, resepción, servicio de limpieza de 10, el restaurante muy buen Chef y el personal súper atento a lo que necesites y con excelente plática, exclente precio, incluso el personal de mantenimiento nos regalo un coco riquisimo. Desafotunadmante al pueblito le falta mucha atención, basura en las calles y algunas playas sucias y las calles con muchos baches pero, los locales súper amables en las tienditas y los restaurantes Wouuu súper sabroso y excelente atención. Vamos a repetir el viaje al mismo hotel. Felicidades a los colaboradres del hotel. 100% recomendable.

Sehr schöne und gepflegte Anlage...nicht mitten im Trubel, aber dennoch nur 5 Minuten weg vom Geschehen. Die Zimmer sind sehr einfach, eigentlich völlig ausreichend aber da das Hotel allerdings preislich doch schon im oberen Drittel in Holbox angesiedelt ist, sollte man schon etwas mehr erwarten dürfen als "ausreichend". Die hinteren Liegen und Schirme am Strand (welche ausreichend zur Verfügung stehen) dürfen als Hotelgast kostenlos genutzt werden, die vorderen die zum Beach Club gehören dürfen nur bei Verzehr im Beach Club (allerdings als Hotelgast ohne Mindestverzehr) genutzt werden. Ist aber sowieso unnötig, da der Strand vorm Hotel aufgrund des Seegrases nicht ansehnlich ist und auch nicht zum baden einlädt. Das ist für mich das größte Ärgernis an diesem Hotel...man hält es nicht für nötig das Seegras für seine Gäste wegzuräumen sondern lässt es lieber stinkend in der Sonne verrotten. Zu der Zeit als wir dort waren hatten wir nicht mal allzu viel Seegras, aber es sammelt sich halt...sobald man rechts oder links an den nächsten Beach Club/Hotelstrand geht sieht es ganz anders aus, die bemühen sich nämlich den Strand sauberzuhalten siehe Bilder...Strand vom Puerto Holbox und Strand 50m weiter...). Frühstück wurde vom Beach Club serviert und ist ziemlich überschaubar, dafür sehr schöne Location. Weiterhin positiv war ein Trinkwasserspender auf dem Hotelgelände an dem man sich seine Flaschen immer auffüllen konnte. Insgesamt kein schlechtes Hotel, aber solange sie sich mit dem Strand keine Mühe geben ist es m.E. das Geld von ca. 130-150 Euro pro Nacht nicht wirklich wert, für das Geld gibt es besseres in Holbox oder man bucht ein günstiges Hotel und gibt das gesparte Geld dann eben in einem schönen Beach Club aus.
