DoubleTree by Hilton Hobart

Fantastic trip and fantastic service at the Hilton Double Tree. Rooms and service were top-notch. Support from staff was fantastic too. My daughter hurt her foot in the pool and they sent her a little note and bar of chocolate which made her day - above and beyond. Our only complaint was the breakfast buffet was pretty average and with Hobart being such a vibrant bustling city of beautiful food they need to up their game. Everything was ok and a decent selection, however the hot food section was pretty poor and the sausages were like cardboard. Kids loved the cereal and fruits on offer so that was a bonus.

The hotel front desk staff were exceptionally helpful. They provided quick assistance with check-in, offered great local recommendations, and promptly addressed any concerns.

Good location , friendly stuff . Walking distance to Salamanca

Location - about 11 to 15 minutes to find food or cbd area/attractions. The reception service was very good and helpful. The room was okay. We got a room at level 3 - although it was quiet noisy from neighbouring rooms and external alarms. The refrigerator had an issue where 2x maintenance came to fix the problem. Overall, it didn't meet our expectations as a 4-star hotel. - No service allows no heat for our food (like microwave). - Bottle water limited 1 day 1 bottle per person. - No toiletry available. Need to call the reception for each item(s). - No free parking (cost is Aud.35/day). Available free street parking starts from 6 pm to 8.30 am close by but very limited (2P 8.30 am-6pm) where you can pay online for the parking, no need to use the machine.

Every hotel staff provided services of high quality during the days i stayed. They are important parts of Hobart, where i am sure i will come again! I was luckily be upgraded to a mountain view room, every morning the first thing i did was to open the curtains wide to see the amazing mt wellington!
