Renaissance Riverside Hotel Saigon Reviews

Opened in 1999, It’s a dated full 5 star luxury property. Currently there is an ongoing Renovation but it’s unclear which areas have been completed. The hotel’s selling point is perhaps the 4 rooms per floor with a very wonderful view of the roundabout. It’s pretty cool. I was lucky to get assigned one. The rates would have been a lot higher in the past. It’s like the one of the best hotels in Saigon way back in the early 2000s. It still has its charm but i would appreciate if there upgrading of key facilities such as carpets and ventilation systems were done more regularly. There was clearly an odor in the room of old age. Most 1990s buildings with centralized ventilation actually have this musty smell. But it can be treated by replacing the entire ventilation system and cleaning out the ducts. That’ll cost money but I’m it’ll be great for their business.

Nice place to visit HCM, the hotel is old, pillow is too soft, but staff was very friendly and smile and polite all the time. Will come back again

The inside fixture is a bit old, compare to the new by Sheraton. There is a 7-11 convenience store just next to the hotel also makes it easy to find some quick fix.

The river room is directly looking to the very bright screen at the opposite side of the river. Get ready to sleep by closing the curtains which will make you also wake up in the dark room. Don't underestimate to brightness!! European electric plugs don't work as it's loosen. Includes hair dryer.

Clean and comfortable room. Good view from the club lounge. Breakfast was nice also with many varieties of food.

Very good 5 stars hotel. Breakfast is excellent. Service is super. Location is in riverside and close to Japanese town. Gave me amazing experience in HCM.

Level 20. I think just below the fitness center. Was woken up by the noise from the fitness Center.

The location is fantastic. Right by the river. In the center of the city. Rooms & facilities are a bit old, but that’s the Renaissance branding. Overall a great stay. Delicious breakfast
