The Bristol Hotel Campbell San Jose Reviews

A somewhat hidden gem of a hotel. It's tucked away off of Bascom but as soon you enter the doors it's like a different era of music/decoration/furniture/etc. Clean and spacious and breakfast is included with your stay.

Very happy to choose this hotel. If you love architecture and interior design like me. Here is one of the hotel in Campbell, San Jose I do recommend you to check out. The Victoria Italian style always makes you feel luxury and comfortable like home. The check in and check out process is very fast and friendly. I will be back again!

Couldn't make this trip cause I'm a firefighter and got called out to the LA fires. No help what so ever in refunding my room a couple days before my stay. No even a credit for another stay or anything. Just stole my money! Needless to say, never again!

Very solid hotel, feels clean and smells great. Good location

The hotel is eccentric and really has some character, no doubt! The bed was immaculate & clean but the faded out chair in the corner just made me feel like they needed to toss it instead of trying to fill space. Staff are nice, breakfast is a nice touch with coffee and tea, and ice machine helps but no water dispenser for anyone to refill, just ice. No pool or added amenities other than breakfast and parking so a water fill-up station would be nice.

Spacious clean and beautiful rooms. Breakfast, eggs, and waffles are great. Service was professional and polite.

Fun experience - quaint decor. Don't count on the breakfast for anything substantial. Nothing hot but toast. Hot water decanter was full of something icky both times even though we told staff about it. However, overall pleasant stay.

The room is relatively large, the bed is estimated to be around 130. There is a coffee machine, refrigerator, TV, desk, small coffee table and wardrobe in the room. The shower room is large and the double basin is very comfortable to use. But the breakfast is too bad. The staple food every day is potato cubes and egg paste. It is too unpalatable. Is it possible to have better food for a night with more than 1,000 yuan? It has its own parking lot with multiple cameras in the small yard. There are plenty of parking spaces. There is still a spot when you come back at 11pm. The hotel is pet-friendly. I have encountered a huge dog that scared the baby to death.

The room is quite big and old, and the breakfast is very simple.

The room is very clean, the surrounding environment is very good, the service staff is also very enthusiastic, and there are complete shopping malls and supermarkets within a 10-minute drive. It is a very good choice and worth recommending!

The sanitary conditions are a little bit poor, but everything else is good!

The Bristol is my hotel of choice. Over the past six months I have spent 45 days staying there. The staff has gone out of their way to make me comfortable and cared about. I was in San Jose to take care of my mother before she passed away. Simple things like providing a different blanket, a night light, a smile, them knowing my name and giving me my favorite room made this rough time easier. The rooms were clean, quiet and spacious. The bed and bedding very comfortable. The coffee is incredible. I will be staying there again.

What I loved most about this hotel was its very traditional interiors; design and furnishings. I do NOT like contemporary modern cold austere architecture and interiors. I would come back just for that. I did have an issue with using the heat from the AC wall unit as it made Loud continuous ticking noise all during the first night. The next night I just kept it off, so make sure you get a room that has the "functioning" wall thermostat (I was told they have rooms with this). I got my room last minute and perhaps that is why I got stuck with a horrible window/wall unit. That was my ONLY complaint. And I LOVED LOVED having the microwave in my room. If you don't have a kitchen that is helpful. Loved the Nespresso machine so much that I bought one off amazon, after I returned home. The room and bathroom and entry were large and roomy. Also the people at the front desk were very very friendly. I would recommend this hotel, and if I am back in San Jose, I will definitely return.
