Positives: The location of the hotel is great (laundry, restaurants, shops, points of interest all within walking distance). There is a little bit of noise from outside but it's ok. The staff has been polite and helpful throughout my stay. Negatives: it could be just this room but there was a lot of mold attached to the ventilation fans (over the bed and in the toilet). I found two cockroaches in the toilet. The WiFi signal and speed were horrible.

I initially booked a room at The Rice Hotel Bui Vien, but due to an issue with the original room, I was redirected to one of their sister properties, The Rice 131 Bui Vien Hotel. The room condition at The Rice 131 was quite good—recently renovated and relatively modern. However, being located directly on Bui Vien Walking Street, it's important to be aware of the significant noise from nearby bars and clubs, especially from 8 PM to 4 AM. To their credit, the hotel has installed thick, soundproof doors and tempered glass windows, which help somewhat. But despite the efforts, the bass from the music can still be felt throughout the night. Pro tip: if you're a light sleeper, pack noise-cancelling (ANC) headphones or earplugs to get a better night’s rest.

I love that there is always food on breakfast and I really enjoyed the stay. When I go back to Vietnam, I will stay here again.

Friendly staff. Easy to get access to traditional markets. Many restaurants around. Travel agencies around to book day tours. VERY loud music and party noise starting from 8pm to 4am, especially on weekends. AC and fridge compressors make noise too, annoying at night. Breakfast which comes in sets is not recommended, so we prefer to go to Liberty Hotel to have breakfast buffet.

The hotel location is super convenient. The staffs are also all friendly and accommodating. Initially had a little trouble finding the hotel since its reception is inside a restaurant looking place. The place had no lift as well (only luggage lift) so staying on a higher floor meant that I had to climb many steps. Sockets were too less as well so I had to unplug either the service phone or the tv. However, if you are looking for a budget stay with a good location and a hotel with great service and decent amenities come here .

The hotel located in the famous beer street of Ho Chi Minh City. It is quite convenient for me to experience the local beer culture. The boss is very warm-hearted, who helped me to call a taxi to the Tan Son Nhat International Airport when coming back.Great, I think I will visit Ho Chi Minh City once again in the near future.

The room is clean and good sized. The location near buy vienh make it very central. It's not very noisy from the street but the staff should pay more attention to the people making too much noise in the hôtel.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The hotel was booked a month in advance. When I arrived at the front desk to check in at more than 11 o'clock that night, the front desk staff informed me that due to technical problems, the room I originally booked could not be provided. The hotel had no other rooms available, but they could arrange a hotel room of the same company in another location for me. After waiting for more than 10 minutes, the front desk staff slowly took me to a very noisy and messy inner street. The whole street was full of nightclubs, bars, and nightclub employees soliciting business. The so-called other branch room of the hotel staff was right upstairs in the center of the street. Deafening nightclub music could still be heard in the room. That night I asked to cancel the order on the app, but the hotel ignored it. I called the front desk the next night and the front desk said that they would inform their manager and give me a satisfactory answer. I booked a total of 3 nights. I did not enjoy any breakfast and did not ask for room cleaning. But they did not give me new drinking water and replenish toiletries every day like other hotel services. I needed to call the front desk every night for them to replenish them. On the last night, the front desk could not enter the supplies storage room because the cleaning staff had gone off work, so they could not give me drinking water and toothpaste. Because I could not cancel the order, I asked for a partial refund of the booking fee. The front desk told me that the manager would explain the situation to me on the morning of my check-out and that he would be at work at 7am. However, when I checked out at 9am, the manager did not show up and told the staff that they could not give me any refund or compensation because I had stayed for 3 nights and had breakfast but I had not eaten it. Moreover, I did not check in on the same day and refused their room allocation arrangement, so they refused my request. I was very angry. At first, I decided to book this hotel because the reviews said that the environment was quiet and the hotel service was good. However, when I actually checked in, the experience was very bad. The street downstairs was not only noisy and crowded, but also unsafe for a girl. The unreasonable reason for the hotel's refusal to make any compensation was really unreasonable and far-fetched. Tourists are not recommended to book this hotel.

Overall, it's satisfactory for a solo stay. It's close to downtown, so you can hear a lot of music at night. It's clean, but there's no curtain separating the toilet and shower, so you have to be prepared for that. However, the price is quite reasonable, so I recommend it.

I stayed in this small hotel. The house is relatively old and may have been renovated in recent years. It is quiet, convenient, and hygienic. The waiters are very friendly. The room has a private bathroom.
