Pretty house in the clouds
Bancroft B&B is truly lovely, in a lush garden with an ethereal setting amid the clouds. The rooms were perfect, with crisp linens and fluffy towels. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and the warm welcome from Tina and Mandisa.

What a fantastic, popular & busy B&B. We were going to a friend's wedding nearby and stayed here for 7 nights. Bancroft B&B is a stunning Georgian style building set in a beautiful garden with a pool. Tina (host) and her staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The room was excellent with a very comfortable bed, bath, shower, sofa, tea/coffee making facilities and a lovely view. Delicious cooked breakfasts (I recommend the omelette). We would definitely stay here again. Tina is very friendly, interesting and went out of her way to make our stay in South Africa an enjoyable and unforgettable one. We hope to stay here again in August.

Lovely Host, thank you Tina for looking after me. House and garden are beautiful and homely. If I am in Hilton again i would definitely be back and as a visitor from UK this is exceptional value. Property felt secure. Appreciate having dogs isn't everyone's cup of tea BUT this seems to be the norm in SA and it means it is a dog friendly property as well (Personally a house dog is a bonus for me). Thank you again

It was my “pause and reset button” type of place and I was not disturbed. The owner was friendly and her staff members made sure they catered for my Grandfather with so much love and respect. The breakfast was always delicious!

What an awesome place. The rooms are pristine, comfy and very comfortable. The home made breakfast was to die for. Tina is not only a brilliant host, she made us feel like part of the family. We will definitely be back.
