the Inn is in an incredibly beautiful setting . The Kulaniapia falls and its blue pool , the near'by hills filles wuth trees, the singing birds, the bamboo plantings and the tranquillity made for a wonderful stay. Swimming in the pool below the falls made me feel thirty years younger:) We were sad to leave and want to come back. the staff were very friendly and helped us with our requests . Tasty Breakfast on the patio looking the falls . The online registration, meal ordering and checkout worked flawlessly. Nice touch that the gates recognized my license p'ate and opened automatically. Would highly recommend and hope to visit again

The experience was absolutely amazing the folks there made sure any needs were addressed with a simple text and the breakfast was amazing fresh fruit and breakfast sandwiches. We did an overnight and wish we had time to stay another day. We made friends with the black cat that followed us like a puppy on the bamboo trail! If you are on the big island it’s a must see!

Pros: Super romantic getaway! Great start to our vacation. Wish we had booked the entire week here! I loved the hiking down to the falls. I loved swimming in the falls. I loved the quality of the food served at breakfast, the ease of making breakfast reservations, the flexibility to pick your breakfast time, the ease of communication through text. The bed was so comfy. The shower was excellent with great water pressure. It was just a really amazing place to stay and I would love to return if they had air conditioning!

We stayed in a room overlooking the waterfall. The waterfall is stunning. The resort has it slightly lighted at night, so we could see it from our balcony day or night. The breakfast was delicious and the breakfast staff were really nice. The room itself could use some attention to detail. Checking in is through an office window, which caught us off guard. All in all, it was a pleasant stay. The view waterfall was exceptional and it is one of the few waterfalls on the big island you can walk to and swim in the pool at the bottom.

Stayed here for 2 nights and fell in love with the property! Beautiful grounds and it was amazing to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the waterfall. Breakfast was made to order and delicious. No AC but you really don’t need it, as it gets really cool at night and perfect for snuggling up to your bae :)

Really didn't know what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. It is off the beaten path but a pleasant ride and the road was well paved, directions were super. Our room (King Kamehahameha (?)) was lovely with a balcony overlooking the falls. The sound of the rushing water was lovely music to go to sleep by. The common areas were very nice with a open balcony to eat breakfast and TV, music, computer and phone if you wanted it. We were too busy to use the common areas anyway. The housekeeper, U'ilani was very welcoming and she will make you eggs if you would like. We met some very nice people and it was very private. Would highly recommend the Inn for a lovely stay!

This hotel refused to shelter guests during a tsunami evacuation. They said “your problems are not our problems!” No thought of being human im this situation!!!

What a beautiful experience. If you want an all inclusive resort this is not the place for you. However, if you are into nature retreats, the experience was phenomenal. We swam in the private waterfall everyday and the rooms were clean and comfortable. There was no air conditioning in my room but it was not a problem at all.
