Excellent hotel, we have been to many places and have something to compare with. Breakfasts are great, you choose from the menu and it was included in our stay. Rooms with a beautiful view of the ocean, pool, spa with excellent massage (you need to book a day in advance). There is a Japanese restaurant on the roof with a gorgeous view. Live music from Wednesday to Sunday! We highly recommend this hotel. Friendly and attentive staff. Internet WiFi worked great. The beach is private, sun loungers and towels are provided by the hotel for free, there are waves like almost everywhere in Sri Lanka with small children it may not be very comfortable to swim.

We had an excellent three-night stay at Riff Hikkaduwa. The staff were very attentive and always greeted us with a smile. The food was exceptional, with a wide variety of options to suit all culinary tastes. The rooftop bar and, in particular, the Japanese restaurant are a feather in the hotel’s cap.

Best of Lanka booked this boutique hotel so we could undertake local activities and then lounge by the beach for a couple of days before our midnight flight home. Pure luxury, with all the care and attention you would expect from a top hotel. Plus there is a genuine focus on food by the hotel. A minor price premium over a local restaurant ensured a very superior experience indeed. Top marks!

We stayed at Riff for five nights in February after a week of touring Srilanka. It was a great stay! All the staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Hotel is really beautiful and the views from the rooms are stunning. Food was great, really diverse choice for breakfast. Not a buffet stile but I loved it even more. I tried different things every day, and everything was yummy. We had lunch by the pool every day. Also had dinner at Japanese restaurant on the top floor twice and it was delicious. Best thing was a beautiful infinity pool, chairs on the beach ( you can always find a spot ) and a gorgeous white sand beach. Waves in front of the hotel were too big for swimming in the sea but I could have watched them whole day :) you can swim just few minutes walk down the beach. And it is a great place for surfing so we tried that also. There are lots of restaurants on the beach also great food. And great beach for morning run/walk. We even had a turtle come one night and laid eggs in front of the hotel. Thank you everyone at Riff for making this a memorable stay for our family. We loved it!

Hikkaduwa Riffs Hotel is a truly special place. Watching the sunset through the window or from the rooftop with live music, surrounded by warm smiles from friends and staff, creates a sense of peace and gratitude. I started with just wanting a cup of Basilur Tea, but the experience became so much more. Each morning here brings new hope for a happy day ahead. Grateful for such a wonderful place—highly recommended for anyone looking to relax and enjoy life to the fullest

Отдыхали с мужем в отеле Riff Hikkaduwa с 19 февраля по 1 марта 2025 года. Отель отличный. Очень удачное местоположение - немного на отдалении от самого цента городка Хиккадува, но это большой плюс - нет шума и суеты улицы. Тишина и атмосфера, способствующая отдыху и расслаблению. Поездка на тук-туке до центра занимает 3 минуты (цена около 300 рупий - это примерно 100 рублей). Можно и пешком пройтись - это примерно 10 - 15 минут) Сам отель очень уютный. Отличный видовой бассейн. Свои лежаки на пляже. Отдельно хочу сказать про персонал! Это отзывчивые и добрые люди! Все! Готовы придти на помощь в решении абсолютно любого вопроса. Про ресторан в отеле - у нас были только завтраки. Очень вкусно! Огромный выбор блюд. Заказ по меню. Меню на завтраке очень разнообразное! Все блюда прекрасного качества и, что немало важно, эстетичная европейская подача! Прекрасно работают официанты! Ни минуты лишнего ожидания! Несколько раз ужинали в ресторане отеля. Это действительно вкусно! По сравнению с ужинами в городских кафешках - просто супер! Еще раз хочу отметить качество блюд и чистоту!! Огромное спасибо менеджеру ресторана Benisha. Очень улыбчивая, внимательная и отзывчивая девушка! Я бы ОЧЕНЬ рекомендовала этот тихий спокойный респектабельный отель парам, семьям с детьми и взрослым людям! Молодежи, желающей острых впечатлений, шума и суеты - лучше, наверное, остановиться ближе к центру))) А тем, кто отдыхает в этом отеле всегда есть возможность попасть в эпицентр веселья, а потом вернуться в свой тихий уютный и комфортный номер без шума и суеты.
