The location of the hotel is good as 100+ meter from the train station and there is dedicated parking lot just opposite the hotel. Their breakfast is nice and price is reasonable.

Staying in this hotel was like living in the ancient times jn japan but the hotel was clean There was public bath not natural onsen. Two pools. But one of them was full of bubbles, not sure if someone jumped into the bath without washing away the shower gel. Room was not small. Breakfast was great and delicious, especially the miso on leaf and steam tofu. You can enjoy your breakfast in a japanese style room with your companions. Staff was nice. Free parking.

Excellent service and outstanding meals. A slightly awkward step up into the bathroom was the only minor blemish in a fine and welcoming traditional Japanese hotel.

Dated, in a very charming way, conveniently located in a quiet, very attractive town. The staff are very friendly, and the breakfast was excellent.

When I visit Furukawa, I check if Tomoe Hotel is available first. The location is good, the staff is good, and the breakfast is good. The room is not too bad. The unit bath is the same as a business hotel. The air conditioner has an AI comfort function, which I felt was new. What surprised me was the bath. The staff was humble and said, "It's small, so if you don't mind, please use it," but it was not! It was just right for me. I think three people is the best. If there were more than that, it might feel cramped. By chance, no one was in the room and we had it all to ourselves, and the free foot massage machine was surprisingly good. It was also good that there were two types of hot water available! I could hear a little snoring from the person in the next room, which didn't bother me, but it bothered my wife. This is the only hotel in front of the Furukawa station (there are inns and private lodgings).

The room is large, and the environment outside is very good when you open the window! I like this feeling very much. The breakfast is also very rich, and the waiter is also very patient in explaining the precautions in the room. Will stay again next time

A relatively quiet city with not many people and clean rooms. The scenic spots here can basically be completed by walking. The hot spring is on the second floor of the hotel and there is no one there.

Very good hotel. Only a few minutes walk from the train station. He arrived early and allowed us to check into the room. He also recommended us nearby restaurants, noodles and Japanese rice. A river crosses this town, each bridge is a different color, and there are three large temples. It snowed heavily that day. The town is extremely peaceful and beautiful. I went to several local stores, and the products were all unique, not mass-produced tourist products. Sake is produced here. We went to two sake specialty stores and drank more than a dozen glasses one by one. The store owners were so generous. We met an old candle shop that has been passed down for seven generations. The owner showed us how to dye a white candle red. I happily bought a few red candles.

The room was just the right size and comfortable. However, the chairs made a lot of noise and echoed, and we could hear loud noises from the next room, so I thought it would be better if they put some kind of noise-reducing sticker on the bottom of the chairs.

It's close to Hida Furukawa Station. The dinner is very special. It's a good experience to experience the local culture. The entire dining environment and products can fully reflect the local characteristics.
