Luv the lobby especially the fireplace and the chocolate aroma. Room somewhat dated. Staff were very helpful and professional. Could have used a shower cap and bottles of water. Toilet was not grounded and made a great deal of noise when you sat down and again when you flushed the commode. Musty/damp odor in room. Would like to see grab bars in the shower area, especially for the older generation. Also our first night we had to listen to a great deal of loud talking and partying next door and outside our window. The walls are somewhat thin.

I was swatting fruit flies in my room all weekend! There was absolutely no food in there and I never opened the exterior door. My theory is they were coming through the ventilation system as others in my group had similar issues in their rooms. Kinda gross.

I was killing fruit flies in my room all weekend. I had absolutely no food in there and never opened the exterior door. My theory is they were getting in through the ventilation system as others in my group had similar issue in different rooms. Kinda gross.

We really like the Hershey Lodge but this year the mattress's were very soft and lumby. So much so that turning over was a real problem so Iasked the front desk and he said they were new???? If thats the case we will not be staying at the Lodge next year for the AACA car event. Could not sleep on those super soft beds!!!

Comfortable Stay & Excellent Service We had a wonderful time during our stay! Our family of three adults and one child comfortably fit into two adjoining rooms, which were spotlessly clean and very well-maintained. A major highlight was the staff; everyone was genuinely friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out. Great Amenities & Dining We appreciated the convenience of having multiple restaurants right on-site. The recreational options were a big hit with the family; we spent time playing mini-golf and visited the impressive indoor water area multiple times throughout our stay. Unbeatable Location The lodge is perfectly situated for exploring the area. It's incredibly close to Hersheypark, Zoo America, Hershey Stadium, The Story Museum, and Chocolatetown. Concert Shuttle Service My husband and I attended a concert at Hershey Stadium, and the complimentary hotel shuttle was a fantastic perk. While the travel time was lengthy due to the unavoidable traffic entering and exiting the venue, we were so grateful for the service provided by the hotel staff. It made getting to and from the event much smoother! Highly recommend this lodge for families looking for a clean, convenient, and amenity-rich stay in the Hershey area.

I stayed on September 20 for one night. Our main purpose was to attend Hersheypark Dark Nights. I didn’t know Slayer was playing at the stadium. I don’t mind Slayer. I actually like them. This stay was not enjoyable for a family trip. The courtesy shuttle was not for families this night. Very colorful language Someone was smoking on the bus. That was horrible. People in a room nearby was up till 4:00 am blasting music. I wish there would have been a disclaimer on the Hershey Lodge website during booking that Slayer was playing at the stadium. I would have booked a different weekend.

wow, what a disappointment for the price. Rooms are pretty dated. Price was about $300+ a night. Lots of deferred maintenance: light in the shower didn’t work, nightstand outlets didn’t work (so I woke up to a dead phone… always great to go to Hershey Park with a low battery!). I returned after being gone all day to find the room hadn’t been cleaned. Apparently housekeeping is “by request only.” (They don’t tell you this upon check-in). Front desk staff was rude when I asked for fresh towels.. hung up the phone as I had also requested another bar of soap. Overall, 2-star hotel with 5-star pricing. Would not recommend staying here.

We recently stayed at the Hershey Lodge for two nights while attending a concert in the area. We chose this hotel primarily because of the advertised shuttle service and its proximity to the event. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish, and I would not choose to stay here again. We were traveling from New York, and what should have been a four-hour drive turned into seven due to traffic and roadwork. We arrived around 10 PM, completely exhausted and hungry, only to find that the hotel was severely lacking in basic amenities. We called an hour before arrival to see if we could pre-order room service, only to be told it’s only available on Fridays and Saturdays. For a resort of this size and reputation, offering room service only two nights a week is both surprising and unacceptable. The only dining option available at that hour was a sports bar open until 11 PM. Even more frustrating was the complete lack of a 24/7 convenience store or any snack options available after hours-not even bottled water in the room for purchase. There were no working vending machines or anything a tired traveler could rely on. It felt like the hotel was completely unprepared to accommodate late-arriving guests. At check-in, the front desk staff was indifferent and uninformative. The gentleman who checked us in did not provide any details about the hotel, amenities, housekeeping schedules, or shuttle service. It was a rushed, impersonal interaction that set the tone for the rest of our stay. When we finally got to our room, we were horrified by how dirty and poorly maintained it was. The room was far from what you'd expect at a hotel charging these prices. The mirrors were smudged and streaked, clearly not cleaned in some time. There were greasy white thumbprints on the bathroom sink handles, which I ended up wiping off myself. Mold was visible around the bathroom sink and in the corners of the shower stall. The grout looked like it hadn’t been scrubbed in months. The bedding had visible tears and gave off a stale, unclean vibe. The entire room felt dingy and neglected- dusty surfaces, stained carpet, and an overwhelming sense that cleanliness is not a priority here. I’m sure roadside motels are cleaner than this. To make matters worse, the room was poorly stocked. Only a small bar of hand soap and a lotion bottle were provided- no shower cap, no Q-tips, no mouthwash, and certainly not enough towels. These are basic amenities that most hotels, especially at a moderate price point, provide without question. The noise levels were also unacceptable. The walls were paper-thin… we could hear every footstep and conversation in the hallway. Starting at 8 AM, housekeeping began banging on other guests’ doors loudly, shouting “housekeeping” over and over again, making it impossible to rest after a long travel day. There was zero consideration for sleeping guests. And as for the shuttle-the main reason we chose this property- it wa

Stayed here after crunching the numbers and comparing amenities with local hotels. This place was a great decision!! Not only is there something for everyone, but the hospitality and food was worth it. The free shuttle was definitely worth it and a big headache saver. The perks of staying here with or without kids is worth the price. Had a standard room and it was spacious and very clean. Hotel staff was attentive and quick to respond when we texted on their customer service line. Had no complaints for entire weekend stay. Would return in a heartbeat when in the area.
