We had an attractively decorated apartment with a very comfortable bed and its own private courtyard including a bbq. There was a lovely communal garden with a small pool. We wished we could have stayed longer.

We needed affordable accommodation for a chess tournament weekend and were amazed at the beautiful rooms. Peaceful and well equipped. A short walk from the ocean. Delicious whale shaped cookies ! Great host - highly recommend !

The weather didn't play along for the weekend but that didn't detract from a wonderful stay at Anchor's Rest. We arrived and were met by the host who showed us our cottage which was neat, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. There was a nice enclosed private outside area with a Weber and picnic bench but due to weather we couldn't take advantage of. The place is in a great location, easy to get to and not too far from Old Harbour - you could walk but maybe driving closer is easier before walking around. We would definitely stay here again.

What made our stay in Hermanus memorable and comfortable for the kids was the warm and welcoming environment, the cozy and inviting kids' room, and the overall cleanliness of the place, which ensured a pleasant and relaxing experience for the whole family.

My husband and I had an awesome anniversary break away thanks to Anchors rest💫 the host were friendly and helpful.The apartment was clean , neat and very cozy.lovely safe quiet and scenic place to rest.We will be back soon🐬🐳
