The Twice Brewed Inn

Lovely pub style hotel in glorious surroundings. Food is excellent. The rooms are rather small but functional. By the way, if both of you are over 80 kgs, I suggest two beds. As this is Northumberland, you will find the drying room a great find. The brewery bar is really good. Enjoy the Hadrian Wall close by.

We have been visiting this Inn for years..we got married there 04/09/2021 and we return every year on a Saturday as close to this date as we can ( we also visit throughout the year) for our Wedding anniversary and even book the same room..ps we've already booked for next year..Steve the manager and all of the staff are great 100% top notch and the facilities and food and drink are great also...but this year is the best the food has ever been...you've surpassed yourself and the chefs Alex & Stu each deserve an award and a medal.. fantastic food. My wife had leek and potatoe soup..luxury fish pie..Pecan pie I had Cheese souffle...Braised Pork Belly, pork cheek pork and apple sausage..White chocolate Cookie dough with chocolate sauce and ice cream.. I can honestly say these meals were nothing short of phenomenal!! Breakfast on Sunday morning was as always fantastic.. Well done..the best place to stay and eat in Northumberland.

Iconic Hadrian’s Wall Hotel & Pub We had a fun evening in the pub, good food, and nice people. Our room was clean, comfortable, and perfectly sound proofed. We overlooked the parking lot but couldn’t hear people, cars, or dogs, even though we could see them. Great location for exploring Hadrians wall when you have limited time as we did.

Stafff were lovely & helpfull. We had a nice view but unfortunately it was above the entrance door to pub & main road outside. Didnt sleep very well because of folk coming & going & traffic.

room needs a makeover and was very small, no room to walk or stand... and poor ventilation. hallway extremely hot. nice atmosfere though and good beer and food

The place itself was in a fine enough condition, and the personel were all very kind, helpful and effective. What put a damper on our stay was, that we were rather unfortunate to be placed in room just above the kitchens, and with our window just next to the exhaust of the kitchen ventilation. These conditions meant that the room was quite warm, but we couldn't really air it out while the ventilation was on, partly due to the noise, but in a much higher degree due to the air being heavy with deep-frying fumes. It was, thankfully, switched off during the night hours, but an hour less on either side of the interval, that we were made aware of by a paper slip in our room, apologising for the noise.
