The Twice Brewed Inn

Lovely pub style hotel in glorious surroundings. Food is excellent. The rooms are rather small but functional. By the way, if both of you are over 80 kgs, I suggest two beds. As this is Northumberland, you will find the drying room a great find. The brewery bar is really good. Enjoy the Hadrian Wall close by.

We have been visiting this Inn for years..we got married there 04/09/2021 and we return every year on a Saturday as close to this date as we can ( we also visit throughout the year) for our Wedding anniversary and even book the same room..ps we've already booked for next year..Steve the manager and all of the staff are great 100% top notch and the facilities and food and drink are great also...but this year is the best the food has ever been...you've surpassed yourself and the chefs Alex & Stu each deserve an award and a medal.. fantastic food. My wife had leek and potatoe soup..luxury fish pie..Pecan pie I had Cheese souffle...Braised Pork Belly, pork cheek pork and apple sausage..White chocolate Cookie dough with chocolate sauce and ice cream.. I can honestly say these meals were nothing short of phenomenal!! Breakfast on Sunday morning was as always fantastic.. Well done..the best place to stay and eat in Northumberland.

Popped in for dinner after a days walk on Hadrians Wall Way. Good selection and quality food. Great service from Matty and the rest of the staff.

Stopped off at Twice Brewed In whilst we were walking Hadrian’s Wall. This Inn is in a great location. It has a brewery onsite, hearty food and the rooms were clean, warm and comfortable. The staff gave great customer service and had the time to talk and make you feel welcome - especially Caitlin. Would highly recommend

A mixed bag. The service was warm and friendly throughout. Dinner in the pub was good - tasty and with a decent selection. Breakfast was more challenging , partially down to the fact the chef had turned up. This was unfortunate as it meant service was very, very slow and food quality mixed. There are some nice touches with the hotel. The drying room is a real bonus. The rooms however have challenges - the shower was either cold or scalding. The plug was broken. And the extractor fan makes a horrible noise until 9pm. Given the price they should probably aim to fix some of these.

In the middle of nowhere, but a perfect stop along Hadrian's Wall! Cosy and immaculately clean room, with comfortable beds and super-soft fluffy pillows. We had a great diner and fantastic breakfast. The staff is welcoming and very helpful.
