"I was disappointed by the view from our balcony suite-yes, it faced up a lovely valley but also directly overlooked the main road into the village 😐 and faced AWAY from the spectacular peaks of Großglockner mountain 😕. And my wife could not sit in the low, reclined balcony chairs- they hurt her 68 year-old back. There was also no lobby to speak of, just a check-in desk. Otherwise, no complaints- very helpful staff; nice breakfast in a lovely dining room; complementary parking in a nearby garage; comfortable (though not luxurious) room."

"Hotel in a great location, opposite the ski lift, Heating was available in the hotel and rooms, reception staff very helpful, for my requests, restaurant staff again very helpful, breakfast brilliant and the evening meal was great as a buffet food selection was great, a member of staff who's name was Colin was very professional and represented the hotel in a great way, very helpful and informative...well done to all the staff."

"The hotel has a 100-year history, with very large rooms and a balcony facing the Basilica of the Holy Blood. The breakfast is very rich, with an interesting egg cooker. The bacon is very delicious, and there are pears that are soft and sweet. They also provide sparkling water for drinking. Free parking, no reservation required. Highly recommended hotel!"

"Wow. What a great little hotel. We booked this hotel last minute via ***********. We'd booked multiple rooms, however upon arriving realised we only needed one larger room/apartment. The owners were super accommodating and made this happen. The hotel (which is more like a lodge) is well located, just above the main square in Heiligenblut (which itself is a fantastic little village). There are half a dozen (free) carspaces right outside the hotel. The rooms all feel new and are well appointed. We only stayed one night and didn't experience breakfast (which some locals told us was really good). The hosts were really friendly, spoke perfect english and very accommodating. I'd certainly recommend staying here and we hope to return in winter for some skiing. "
