Before I go into my review, be aware that we saw (at a Healdsburg realty office) that this property was recently sold. So regardless of our experience, who knows what the future will be. Maybe they will close it down and do something else with the property. Anyway, we spent 2 nights in the Fig cottage - one of 4 units. The Fig is on the back side of Gimlet and the two are attached. There is a hallway connecting the rooms, closed off by locking barn doors. The doors are not tightly sealed, so you could definitely hear activity in the connecting room (we did not, as Gimlet was empty while we were there). This is a warning to anyone renting either Fig or Gimlet, as what if you get a noisy neighbor playing music or watching TV? You would probably hear even normal conversation in the other room. As it turned out for us, it was very quiet, but we would not go back due to this risk and other things I will detail. I think Gimlet and Fig were configured so that they could be made into a 2 bedroom arrangement, which would be fine. FYI, Fig is also apparently an ADA room, as it had an entry ramp, a huge bathroom (nice) with roll-in/no curb shower & fold down seating + hand-held faucet (optional use). There were mixed feelings we had about this room. First, the pluses: nice modern decor (however it is entirely different from what is posted on the website), comfy bed, nice linens & towels, good HVAC (quiet), generally clean (except for a mascara and food bar someone had left behind), had a Keurig coffeemaker (which is not mentioned on the website), Harmon Kardon bluetooth music player, privacy, plenty of hooks (good since there is limited closet & storage space), comfortable outside chairs (better than the iron furniture shown on the website), 2 bicycles for use, very convenient parking, lots of windows and lovely french doors. Now the minuses: No front porch to sit on - just a tiny space outside the french doors (contrary to the photo on the website, which is actually a photo of the Gimlet room), non-functional liquid soap dispenser in the bathroom, information about TV operation was obsolete, no sticks or spoons for the coffee creamer, and really no functional bathroom counter space. Wish lists for the management: Microwave (to reheat coffee) and ice maker. Need to direct one of the ceiling spotlights toward the "kitchen" area, as it can be dark in that corner. Also need to do some painting of the white wood baseboards and outside entry doors. Summary: This place is not accurately represented in the photos on the website. The entry is completely misleading and borders on false advertising. The room does not look like the website photos, though it is very nice, but why not update the photos? Also, we had no real communication from the management to speak of. The day before our arrival, we had still not received instructions on how to get into the place, so we called them. We were told that instructions would be sent to us later tha
