On 25 October 2025, my family and I were subjected to a terrifying experience at Kruger Adventure Lodge, Hazyview. Despite assurances of 24-hour access, we were locked out at 22h00 with no security present. My wife and two minor daughters were left stranded outside the gate for over an hour, bordering a high-risk area. Calls went unanswered. The night guard was found asleep, and the day guard returned inebriated. This is a gross breach of duty of care and a violation of South African tourism and consumer protection laws. I have formally requested: A full refund for the night A written apology Confirmation of disciplinary action No response has been received. I am now escalating this to the relevant authorities and sharing this experience publicly to warn others.

A place surrounded by nature with all the amenities. The staff was welcoming and efficient. We had everything we needed, and they also made it easy for us to get to the airport and all the activities. The final price was very reasonable.

Stayed at Kruger Adventure Lodge and have to say it was a fantastic experience. Stayed in a safari tent and it was more than I expected. The staff were all very friendly ams helpful. The food was delicious, even the packed breakfasts for the safaris! So convenient them having their own jeeps/drivers too and only 15/20 minutes away from Phabeni Gate. Would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to come back. Loved every minute

I had an amazing experience! The accommodation was fantastic—comfortable, clean, and in a beautiful setting. The safaris were absolutely incredible. Every drive brought something new and exciting, and the guides truly went above and beyond to make sure we had an unforgettable time. Their knowledge, passion, and effort made all the difference. These were truly special days that I’ll never forget

Some wait staff were very disinterested in their job and you struggled to get a hello or a smile. The food was average with a very limited menu. Some guides were very inexperienced and lacked knowledge of the animals in Kruger. We actually left a day early and moved to another lodge.

They have friendly staff and if is very close to town. The biggest let down was the good, breakfast overcooked, dinner was not worth it.

My girlfriend and I went to this lodge and we really liked it. Our room was big and well cleaned. The food is very good, even better than expected. If your are lucky, you can even see vervet monkeys in the lodge! The best part were the guides though, especially Elec (I hope it's spelled like this, lol). He was super efficient and with good eyes, and thanks to him we saw all the big 5 in one day! Thank you very much and keep it up!
