Nice hotel and friendly staff. They serve breakfast, dinner, and lunch. If you want breakfast I would recommend paying for it when you make your reservation as this will be less expensive.

We love staying at the Swan. The staff are always friendly & helpful & the rooms are spot on. The bed is ridiculously comfortable & we usually sleep pretty well. The trouble is we never want to leave. Top quality hotel & worth every penny. We will be back again soon.

Great place to stay if you're visiting Hay on Wye. Good dining options for dinner and breakfast. We loved it and stayed an extra night.

We had a pleasant experience overlay with a couple of hiccups which put a dampener on the whole experience. Check in was easy, we were early so the young girl very kindly offered us tea and coffee whilst we waiting for our room to be ready. The bar area and communal seating is a little scruffy and in need of some TLC but overall offered a lovely place to sit. We didn’t eat, though the menu did have a wide range of options to choose from and we would perhaps go here for lunch if we are ever in the area again. Breakfast was tasty and the team all very friendly. Would recommend for an affordable nights stay.

Really lovely hotel.
Lovely hotel. The staff were amazing and very friendly. Food was top tier. We arent usually the type to eat at the hotel we stay at, as we like to try more of the local places. But the food was so good we ended up having breakfast two of the days and dinner. The room was very nice and well equipped. The only issue we had was that when someone in the building used the hot water, we could hear banging from what sounded like the pipes which seemed to go on through the night. We did report this to reception and hopefully it'll get sorted for anyone else staying in that room. But overall a great experience.

Comfortable hotel in the heart of Hay on Wye. Family gathering over a weekend- we were well looked after by all the staff. A bit more vegetarian choice on the restaurant menu would be good. Many thanks to you all, we really appreciated all you did to make us welcome.

This was a cozy and safe gem of a place. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The staff were so very kind and the food was incredible.
