The Hale Pau Hana

Our family has been coming to Hale Pau Hana for six generations now, and my son is proud to be the sixth! We’ve been staying here since I was two years old, and my family has been coming since the resort first opened. It’s truly our home away from home. The property couldn’t be in a better location — right in the heart of Kihei, steps from the beach, and just a short drive to great shopping, poke spots, recreation, the Shops at Wailea, and some of Maui’s best restaurants and beaches. You can walk straight from your lanai onto the sand or enjoy the beautiful ocean view from the pool when the afternoon breeze picks up. The suites are fantastic! Most now have full air-conditioning throughout, which makes such a difference on warm Maui days. Each one is fully stocked with everything you need in the kitchen, so with just a quick Costco run from the airport, you can settle in and make this place your home away from home. We never want our vacation to end here because it’s just that relaxing. The beach out front is perfect for families. The water is calm, gentle waves ideal for boogie boarding, floating, snorkelling, or simply relaxing in the water. Our four-year-old loved switching between the beach and pool, and it’s amazing to have both options just steps apart. The lounge chairs are always spotless, the barbeques are cleaned daily, and the on-site laundry makes longer stays easy and comfortable. The office staff are warm, welcoming, and always happy to help, and the housekeeping team does an incredible job. Every stay feels like coming home. Hale Pau Hana will forever be our family’s special place, and we can’t wait to return for many generations to come.

Amazing location, steps from the beach. Love Kihei and it's ability to stay a simple beach town. Grounds are impeccable, condo is simple but incredibly comfortable...just our style. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Pictures shown are right outside our lanai. Already booked our trip for next year.

Paradise……in one word! Room 19 all amenities were top notch. Staff are super helpful & friendly! Beach is perfect and so close to local food and stores, all walking distance! We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed HPH. There is a definite laid-back, relaxing vibe. We rented unit 704 which was clean, comfortable, with two bathrooms, and a well-stocked kitchen. The beach is quite nice and quiet.

This was the perfect place to be in Maui! We could be on the beach just by staying in our apartment! We walked to delicious food around us and we drove 5 min to beautiful snorkeling spots! It was the perfect place to stay, magical!

It was a great experience as always. It feels like home. its the best location as well. We highly recommend Hale Pau Hana!
