Very pleasant recent stay with very welcoming staff. My only suggestion is that when guests call during the evening to advise that they are delayed due to transport issues that they are advised that the restaurant closes at x time and that no room service is available. This gives the opportunity to either stop en route or make alternative arrangements. Probably the best accommodation option in Havelock North, great location within easy reach of all main restaurants and cafes. Well appointed rooms and secure parking. Good 4 to 4.5 star property. Not luxury per se.

Poor service
I made a booking but for the wrong date, human error. I rung the property to inform them but they told me they couldn’t do anything because we’d booked through a 3rd party. It was our wedding anniversary and so looking forward to staying here but they didn’t care, mentioned the system wouldn’t allow them to change the date. I’ve always wanted to stay here but due to having no empathy I’d never stay here, How hard would it be to reserve a room for the following night? Shame on you, like life isn’t hard enough!

The room was lovely, very clean and comfortable and the location was excellent. Staff very helpful. The only problem was our room had a very loud vibration/hum. Think it may have been the air con but it was really unpleasant,
