The Partridge

Decided to book as travelling from Cotswolds to Whiston for a hospital visit. Sooo pleased we did! Excellent location. Lovely exterior and easy parking. Very warm welcome when arriving and very easy to book in. Staff are happy, cheerful, helpful and pleasant not only to the customers but also each other. This is a rarity these days in this industry and is heartwarming to see and encounter. The room was quite large, so was the bathroom. All rooms are at the back of the building with a very cosy and pleasant passageway to them. A warm, quiet, and peaceful nights sleep in a very comfortable room. We dined here and had breakfast too. Nothing was too much bother. Portions for the evening meal were on the generous side and the food was delicious. I would say this hotel is a little gem and would return any time. I've already recommended it to family!

Room was spotlessly clean and bed large and very comfy. Will definitely stay again.

No AC or Fan in Room Our room was very hot and uncomfortable to sleep in. There was an AC control panel on the wall but no AC unit! Even a fan in our room would’ve made a slight difference. I didn’t get much sleep at all. Other than that the room was beautiful and the food was excellent.

Excellent service from very friendly staff in a large comfortable room which suited us perfectly. It was very hot weather so a fan in the room wouldve been nice but we had our own so didnt ask. Overall it was a top notch visit and would definitely stay there again or recommend to others.

All round, great! Great hotel with comfortable, clean and well appointed rooms. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Food choice and quality, excellent. Great selection of draft beers & lagers. Bar, lounge and outside areas provide plenty of choice for relaxing.

Excellent accommodation and food was very good. Staff friendly. It’s convenient for motorway stop or Arley Hall which we were visiting. Nowhere to walk around property though.
