It was a beautiful stay at Alexander. The room was nice and clean. Beautiful view of sea. Service was good.It was hot week when we visited, and there's no AC in room ,just had a little fan, and we had to open windows wide open that made a bit noisy at night. Breakfast was not on point, so don't include breakfast if you plan to visit. Near by so many other shops ,market and beach is on walking distance. It was all together nuce trip.

Keith and Wendy are fantastic friendly hosts. My room was perfect and spotless. It was room B on the first floor. Huge bath and the latest mirror gadget in the bathroom too. Balcony was a bonus and sat out watching the sea in the mornings. They have thought of everything, wine glasses, glass tumblers. Plenty of tea coffee and biscuits too! Extra touches like a charging point for mobiles and other devices. The bed was also so comfortable with plenty of pillows. I did not stay for breakfast but I am sure that would be great too knowing the standards they keep. All in all a great stay and I feel refreshed!

Arrived last night (just after 10 so not exactly in the dead of night) only to find the place locked up and nobody answering doorbell, phone or texts. So that was me potentially out on the street all night. I'd received no communication from them about check in times or procedures so was expecting there to be someone at reception (not unusual for a hotel) Luckily the hotel next door was able to offer me a room. The text message I'd sent was read this morning, but ignored. As I say, avoid this place like the plague.

What a lovely stay at this hotel,charming couple made me feel very welcome and room was great too...I payed extra for breakfast and that was good to, no issues whatsoever, I will be back next year hopefully such was the welcome I received

Location perfect, Keith and Wendy very friendly and parking nearby very easy- either directly outside the hotel or 75m walk to underground car park (shut 2300-0700). Very reasonable price per day as well. Hotel is across the road from the beach - easy walk to old town and loads to see and do on the beach itself. Ideal. We didn’t eat breakfast so can’t comment on this. We were at the top of the hotel - there is no lift which was fine for us.
