John was amazingly friendly and helpful. Did a great introduction to the site and local area when we arrived. He also helped me out of a sticky situation with a piece of well placed gaffa tape to stick my car together temporarily. Joseph the converted coach was fun and luxurious for glamping. There seemed to be so much space and the furniture was comfortable and good quality. We were even glad of the unseasonably cold weather so we could try out the log burner. The view from the windows is beautiful. And the joy of coming back to a hot shower after the cold sea. All in all a great place to find some peace and quiet 😁 The local area is inspiring. The cliffs are spectacular and the sea mesmerising. Too rough to swim in whilst we were there, but we enjoyed wave jumping and lying on the hot rocks when we got out on one of the days was so pleasurable. The local beaches are very rocky and you will be struggling to find sand without getting there when the tide is out. However north devon has other sandy beaches not far away. Shamrock chippy in the local town was great, very tasty and freshly cooked with a ten minute wait. Plus between them the local shop and post office had everything we needed.
