The location was right off the highway and very convenient. However, the area around the hotel was a little seedy. There were a number of men in the parking lot at 10:30 at night drinking. There were abandoned-looking cars and garbage in the entry areas.
While there appeared to be new-ish furniture, the towel rack was broken, the door and window had rust around them, the bathroom door had some type of spatter on it, the tile grout appeared to have not ever been cleaned, there were visible stains on the bedsheets, and the overall impression was gross.
The free breakfast (served between 6 and 9 am) had 3 pieces of bread, juice, coffee, and a waffle maker. That was it.
Check in was not welcoming. The desk wasn't grumpy, but after a long day of driving, she certainly didn't make us feel happy to be there.
Overall, there was a vaneer of normalcy, but an underlying scumminess. We had a two night stay and left after one it was so bad....possibly forgoing a refund on the second (had we arrived earlier than 10 pm after driving 16 hours, we may have just left before the first night.)

Dirty room. Dirty bed. Felt uneasy every morning wondering if my car got broken into. Food and coffee empty by 7am. Breakfast was supposed to go to 9am.

Super 8 by Wyndham Hardeeville 19289 Whyte Hardee Blvd Hardeeville, South Carolina Absolutely filthy and horrible place. We are 2 seniors were compelled to stay there late night in March 16. Everything was dirty, beddings not changed, the bath and shower were full of human hair from all parts of the body. So, we could not sleep there, nor could we take a shower, in an extremally unsanitary situation. We showed our pictures to a front desk, but the manager was very sarcastic and refused to return our $110 that we paid for this less that 1 star garbage place. They should be closed down by SC authorities or by Wyndham headquarters. Let Public Beware. We will let everyone know on social media and beyond.

Super 8 is NOT super
The super 8 is NOT super. A roach was crawling across the floor as we were checking in and our room was very dirty and smelled of mold and mildew. The bed spreads had cigarette burn holes in them, the bathroom door didn’t shut completely and the bathtub fixtures pulled from the wall when adjusting the water. Even though there weren’t many cars in the parking lot We were put in an adjoining room and the neighbors were very loud and up all night. The free complimentary breakfast they advertise consisted of dry cereal and milk. What a waste of $80

Terrible decision
Hotel was absolutely disgusting! First room we were given was a “NON SMOKING” room! It coming from a smoker myself it smelled of cigarettes Terribly! There were cigarette holes in the bedding and everything! The pillow cases looked like they were chewed up by rodents. The ceiling was falling down. I looked like there was blood smeared on the wall behind the door. I can go on forever about this and have pictures of everything! The second room definitely smelled better and was definitely cleaner but still had issues. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone! The only semi decent thing was the staff was accommodating.
